Agent woke up in the van. He looked around him, and all he could see was the darkness around him, besides the patches of light poking through he windows by the pale moonlight. By that time it was almost midnight and he had been left out in the desert. Whether or not he was meant to die was uncertain. As he struggled to break free from his ties, the door of the van was opened and right outside was Korse and a group of dracs.

"Tsk tsk," he started, "I thought for sure that you could be our man, Jax. I had a really strong feeling about you."

Agent wiggled around and squirmed as he tried to get free. He huffed but everything he said was muffled by the rope around his mouth. He knew what this meant. He knew that he had failed Korse, and this could be dire. Korse ordered Agent to be cut loose, and released from the ropes. After being set free, Agent stood up to meet Korse face-to-face.

"Sir, I am sorry for the delay, but I assure you that I will get them back," Agent stated as strongly as he possibly could.

"Jax, you have failed to bring us the bodies of those 5 killjoys," Korse continued, "you have showed no importance to our organization."

"B-B-But Sir..." Agent started, "This is just a minor setback, I will get them for you. This isn't the best of me."

"Then what is the best of you?" Korse asked, "Surely, if you were as powerful and as cunning as you said you were, you would have exterminated our friends a long time ago."

Agent stood in silence.

"We are letting you Go, Jax," Korse said, "From this day forward, you are dead to us."

"What are you going to do to me?" Agent asked with tremors in his voice, "Are you going to kill me?"

"No," Korse began, "Killing you is too easy... we want you... I want you to rot in the desert and maybe he killjoys will spare you... and maybe they'll teach you the pain that traitors feel."

And with a smirk, Korse turned to his vehicle and him and the rest of his crew left. They drove off leaving Agent in the dust. He was left alone to his own devices. In the middle of no where.

He wandered around the desert and looked for something that he can use to survive. All he had on him were the clothes on his body and that was it. He spent all his time walking around and looking for any sign of life.
