Sunshine shined through her windows, as she awoke from her sleep. She woke enchanted, and almost in a high. She felt as if she were on cloud 9.

“Good morning!” She sang at the top of her lungs as she hurried to the kitchen.

As she walked to the kitchen, she saw Ghoul, Kobra, and Party concentrating at a game of cards with Missile and Pony, while Ray scanned them just in case they were cheating.

Her eyes scanned the room, and she didn't see Agent anywhere.

"Where's Agent?" she asked the Killjoys.

"He's at the shooting range," Party answered, "I think."

"Thanks, man," she smiled.

Party nodded. Then, she walked out of the door, to the shooting range and saw her Agent. He saw her too and a big smile stretched across his face.

"How did you sleep, sweetheart?" he smiled as he hugged her.

"Amazingly," she answered. Then, she kissed his cheek.

They giggled and hugged for a while. He smiled and his white teeth sparkled in the sun.

"You wanna go for a walk?" she asked.

"Anything you want to do," he smiled, "I'm happy to do."

She grabbed his hand, and they walked down Route Guano together, like they did the day before. They walked hand-in-hand and they stopped down the side of the dirt road. There was three giant boulders where we decided to sit on.

They looked out at the desert for a while. Nothing much to see besides sand and cacti. There's one thing Diamond loved about the desert, though. The bright blue sky.

Ghoul looked out at the desert. He had a cigarette between his lips and a heaviness in his heart. It was just the beginning of the day, and he was already ready for it to end.

Party walked out to see Ghoul leaning against the Trans Am. He knew that Ghoul hasn't been acting like his usual self, so he wanted to know what was up. He walked over to him and smiled.

"Hey," Party started, "How are you?"

"I'm fine," Ghoul said staring into the desert, then, taking a drag.

"You don't seem fine," Party commented.

Ghoul looked over at Party. He looked at him straight in the eye and said, "How much do you trust Agent?"

Party was confused, "He's a good guy, and he's been through a lot. H-"

Ghoul interrupted, "Do you trust him?"

"Yeah. He's one of us," Party nodded. "Why?"

"I just get weird vibes from him, y'know?" Ghoul said, "He seems sketchy. like he's up to something."

A brief silence followed. Ghoul went back to his cigarette and they both leaned against the trans am, looking out into the desert. After a few minutes, Party broke the silence.

"Is this because of Diamond?"

Ghoul looked at him, "No! She could date whoever the fuck she wants. I don't care."

Sensing a bit of tension, Party stood straight and looked at Ghoul. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but he couldn't push the words out. Though, it was evident that Ghoul felt a little hostility towards Agent and Diamond's relationship. To put it bluntly, Ghoul was jealous.
