Just as you were leaving your house door you realised that Hu Tao had really walked to school without you.

You thought she was just joking so it surprised you a little bit. In the end you just shrugged it off and continued walking.

Your thoughts were interrupted by accidentally bumping into someone and dropping your phone on the ground. Unfortunately, it landed face first.

"Oh my god."

You practically dropped to the floor and started to pray that your phone screen didn't crack, being completely oblivious to the person that you just bumped into.

The person swiftly bent down and snatched your phone away before you could pick it up.

"Hello? That's my phone." You looked up and saw a purple hair boy with a bowl cut looking hairstyle

"Is that really the first thing you should say to the person who you just bumped into?" The person stared down on you.

"Because of you not paying attention to where you were going, I spilled my coffee on the floor. Are you going to pay me?" The purple haired boy asked, raising his eyebrow.

"No." You spat, clearly annoyed about not being able to check if your phone was okay.

"Well then I'm not gonna give you your phone back." The boy had a massive grin plastered across his face, obviously enjoying the situation that you were in.

"Huh!? You can't do that." You stood up and attempted to snatch your phone back from him. The purple haired boy pulled his arm back before you could grab the item stolen from you.

"Well I want to, so I will. Not that it's worth much anymore, the screen is all cracked." He informed you

"What." You looked at him in shock.

"You heard me-"

You grabbed your phone from him when he wasn't looking, making him cut himself off.

"It's not cracked." You raised an eyebrow.

"Whatever, you ruined the fun." He turned around and kept walking.

You sped up your pace to catch up with him.

"What do you want now?" He asked acting completely sick of you, but on the inside he was the tiniest bit glad that you continued talking to him, but of course he was never going to admit that.

"I would like to apologise for spilling your coffee, I could buy you a new one if you want." You felt bad for leaving him empty handed.

"Sure I guess." The purple hair boy didn't really like the idea of you buying him something, but it was free so he wasn't gonna complain.

You clapped your hands together. "Great! So purple boy, what's your name?"

"Purple boy?" The boy just proceeded to ignore that comment and continued. "My name is Scaramouche."

"Nice to meet you Scaramouche, I'm Y/n"

Scaramouche nodded. It was an awkward walk because none of you had anything to say, the both of you happened to be going in the exact same direction so you decided to break the silence.

"Hey uh Scaramouche?"

"Yeah?"

"Where are you heading?"

"To school... Teyvat High School"

So he goes to the same school as me. I've never seen him around and i bet he would be quite popular because

"he's really hot"

You subconsciously spoke aloud.

"Huh? What did you just call me?" Scaramouche raised an eyebrow obviously surprised.

"Uh. I wasn't talking about you." You blurted out, your face was turning really red making it really obvious that you were lying.

"You find me hot?" He chuckled

"NO!!" You lied

"So you don't think I'm hot?" The purple hair boy really wanted to get you to say it again.

"Shut up that's not what I said." Mentally slapping yourself in the face, you took a breather to calm down. "I was going to say that we go to the same school, but I've never seen you around, are you a new student by any chance?"

Scaramouche was a bit upset that the moment ended so quickly but decided not to embarrass you anymore. "Yes. I am a new student, today is in fact going to be my first day."

"Really?!" Your face lit up. "Can I show you around?" You really wanted to skip class, all of the classes you had on Monday sucked, poor Scaramouche thought you did it for him.

"No."

" Why not?"

"Because, I don't want you showing me around." He didn't really want to get too close to you. To be honest he didn't plan on talking to you ever again after this walk.

"Please?"

"No."

"Listen, I really want to skip my Monday classes, and you're the only way I can do that without getting into trouble!"

"Now that's a shame." This boy just wouldn't empathise with you

In the end you just gave up, accepting the fact that you wouldn't be able to skip your Monday classes. The rest of the walk to your school was actually very quiet since neither of you had anything to talk about.

You could say it was quite peaceful and comforting
