You and Scaramouche decided to head to the nearest park to talk things out. After he had told you he felt as if he knew nothing about you, you suggested the both of you had turns answering each others questions. He agreed and now the both of you are currently sitting opposite sides of a picnic bench.

"So..." You spoke.

"So?" Scaramouche asked.

"Just ask me anything you want, I'll answer." You smiled.

"Is there anything else that's important going on in your life? Something I don't know of?"

"Uh." You sweatdropped, dreading the fact there was no way you were going to get out of telling him about Linda. "My father's fiance."

"What about her?"

"Her name is Linda and apparently she used to take care of you in an orphanage when your biological mother passed away. That's how my father found out about your biological mother in the first place." You awkwardly scratched the back of your head.

However, Scaramouche looked at you in complete confusion. "I never went to an orphanage."

"What?"

"Ei is my aunt, which is why we look so similar. I call Ei 'mom' because I don't really remember my biological mother, all I can recall is that her name was Makoto. As soon as she passed away, Ei took me in which is why I never went to an orphanage."

"But then what about Linda?" You questioned.

"I don't know who she is." The indigo haired boy confirmed.

"Oh." You felt as if the entire world was spinning. Who was this woman? And what did she want with your father?

"I don't have anymore questions, if you want to ask me anything go ahead." Scaramouche assured you.

"Scara, did you really kill your biological mother?"

There was a short silence.

"I don't know." He answered.

"You don't know?" You repeated

"I can't remember, I was too young to recall anything. I was apparently the only witness but of course I can't remember any of it, or what I told the police. I've been told countless times that I killed my mother, at this point I've just come to believe it."

"I'm sorry, I think I'm done asking questions."

"It's alright, I had to tell you eventually. I hope you don't think of me too differently." The indigo haired boy sighed.

"I don't think of you differently at all." You comforted him. "It must be really hard for you not remembering such an important situation, having to accept and believe what other people tell you."

"Thank you y/n." Scaramouche let the palm of his hand support his head. "I don't know what I would do without you."

You playfully rolled your eyes at him before standing up from your seat. "I should probably head home now, byeee."

"Alright, good bye." The indigo haired boy bid you a farewell, watching your figure slowly fade away.

As you were making your way home, you noticed Kazuha's car drive past you. Obviously not bothering to walk any longer, you called after him.
