Once Xiao got home he fell onto his bed and groaned face first in his pillow. He was annoyed at himself, annoyed by the fact his feelings for you came back.

You finally found someone to be happy with, and Xiao thought he was going to ruin it, that you were gonna hate him.

In your eyes he was your best friend. That night you rejected him, he cried the most he had done in years. You had no idea how much you hurt him but it wasn't your fault what so ever, and he knew that.

Not knowing what to do, Xiao pulled out his phone. He couldn't talk to you about what was on his mind, so he one no other option than to message his new found friend.
