You and Scaramouche were outside the hospital room Ganyu was staying in, waiting for permission to enter. After a few minutes the nurse allowed you to see Ganyu. 

You were about to open the door when-

"Y/n!" 

You turned you head to see Xiao with such a scared expression on his face running down the hallway to check if his cousin was okay.

"Is Ganyu alright?" He panted, Xiao finally caught up with you guys. He was so exhausted because he ran all the way from his house after he saw the messages you sent him.

Of course he would be extremely worried, Ganyu was one of the only people who really cared about him. He's known her since they were kids.

"This patient is suffering from second degree burns." The nurse informed the three of you. "It will take around 2 weeks to heal. The burns may leave scars but they will disappear over time."

Xiao didn't even wait for the nurse to finish their sentence before barging into Ganyu's room. You and Scaramouche followed behind.

There she was.

Unconscious and covered from head to toe in bandages.

"Ganyu..." Xiao whispered softly. "How did this happen." His voice cracked, it pained you to see Xiao so heartbroken.

He sat on the chair next to Ganyu's bed and held her hand, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. But of course he was never going to cry in front of you, he wouldn't allow himself to.

"I swear, I'm going to kill whoever did this to you." He vowed.

You had no idea how to comfort people when they were in pain, a part of yourself you really hated because when it came to times like these all you could do is stand there in complete silence.

You walked over to Ganyu's bed and stood next to Xiao, the expression he had on absolutely terrified you. You stared at him as your eyes grew wider, that's when you realised.

He was being serious

You and Scaramouche left Ganyu and Xiao alone. As you were waiting outside the room, you saw a familiar face walk up to the two of you.

"Oh hey, Albedo." You smiled at him but just he stared at you with a straight face and nodded.
