Tomorrow was your birthday, but ever since you made up with your friends you've been spending less and less time with them and more with Xiao. It had been two weeks since that incident, even though you said you've forgiven them, in your mind that wasn't really the case.

You were extremely hurt knowing a single picture was valued over the trust you had built up with your friends over months, so you were still holding a grudge.

You're pretty sure the group noticed you being so distant over time, but never said anything about it. Childe would constantly buy you gifts, Yoimiya would continuously show you the newest fireworks created by her family's firework shop. Hu Tao would come over to your house and cook you food, and lastly Scaramouche would take you shopping and spoil the hell out of you.

You could tell they were all trying really hard and you knew exactly what they were doing.
