You quickly ran back to your house and quietly shut the door and locked it.

"Where have you been?"

You jumped letting out a small yelp. You gulped slowly turning around to meet an annoyed Kazuha.

"Uh... I was at Xiao's house."

Kazuha raised his eyebrow.

"I'm not lying I promise." You actually told the truth for once.

"Would you like to explain why I just saw you outside kissing Scara?" He crossed his arms.

"Um, it's quite the long story..."

"I don't mind listening." He gestured at you to continue.

You signed knowing there was no getting out of this, Kazuha was such an overprotective brother so he was never going to let you go without you telling him exactly what happened.

After explaining the story he absolutely flipped.

"Why the fuck did you think it was a good idea to walk home alone?!" Kazuha swore, he never swore.

"I-"

"What do you think would've happened if Scaramouche wasn't there?" He was fuming with anger. Kazuha furious state frightened you, he never yelled at you and you never saw him angry, ever.

Tears started to well up in your eyes, even though you felt a bit pathetic crying because someone screamed at you, it was Kazuha screaming at you and he never raised his voice. Maybe the realisation hit you, if Scaramouche really hadn't been there who knows what would've happened to you. That's why Kazuha was so angry.

Kazuha instantly stopped yelling after he noticed you sobbing quietly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to raise my voice." He pulled you into a hug.

"It's my fault, I should've been more careful." Your voice cracked a little.

"Promise me you won't do something like that ever again, I don't know what I would do if anything were to happen to you." He patted your head.

"I promise."

When you got to your room you started squealing remembering everything that happened between you and Scaramouche. Normally you would go and tell Xiao first but you doubt he would want to hear it right after you rejected him so you had to resort to your back up best friend.
