The next morning Edan was sore as Snape assumed she would be. She slowly sat up and looked around the living room. It was unusually quiet. A long, hot shower sounded glorious. When she ascended the stairs she came across George who was exiting the restroom. The towel wrapped around his waist unexpectedly fell to the floor. Edan quickly averted her eyes as George snatched the towel back up. Once he was decent she met his eye. His face was almost as red as his hair. They both broke into a fit of laughter.

"At least we're even now." George joked between laughs.

Someone cleared their throat further down the stairs. Edan felt her face flush at the sight of him while George bounded up the stairs to his room. Only the day prior Remus had been upset about George seeing her indisposed. "I didn't actually see anything Remus, he was joking."

Remus rolled his eyes. "You're covered in blood. You need a shower."

"Would you like to join me?"

"Absolutely not. Arthur and Molly could return any moment." Remus snapped back at her.

Edan glared up at him. "Why are you being so short with me?"

Remus threw his arms up in exasperation. "Go take a shower already."

"I will if you at least come into the bathroom so we can talk." Edan growled at him. His eyes narrowed but he motioned for her to climb the stairs. He followed behind and shut the door as Edan undressed to climb into the shower. The water was as amazing as she hoped it would be. Remus remained silent on the other side of the shower curtain. He remained silent even after she cleared her throat to encourage him to speak to her. Edan pulled the curtain back to peer out at him. He was leaning against the door while seated on the ground. His eyes met hers and he sighed once more.

"It's pretty clear George has an interest in you Edan." He finally spoke. This was the last thing Edan expected him to say. "I've suspected it since the start of summer. Seeing the way he stared at you in my tent only confirmed my suspicions. Surely you see it too."

Edan pictured all of the new memories her and George had created over the summer. "It isn't obvious to me. In fact I think you are wrong."

Remus scoffed at her. "Then you are blind to it then."

This offended Edan. "Perhaps you should go." She grumbled closing the curtain of the shower once again. The door opened and shut as Remus let himself out.

After she dressed Edan headed to The Twins room to find them. Fred was lounging on his bed while George was reading a book on Quidditch. "You'll never believe the argument I had with Remus. He is under the foolish impression that George has feelings for me."

Fred found this to be hilarious while George refused to look up at her. He remained silent focusing on his book. Fred kicked him. "Did you hear what Edy said?"

George set the book down. "No, I didn't. I was a bit distracted."

Edan had known George for many years. By now she could sense when he was being dishonest but she repeated herself to him regardless. "I said Remus thinks you fancy me."

A smile forced itself across his face. " Please tell me he's joking." George said with a chuckle.

It occurred to her then that perhaps Remus wasn't too far off. Unsure of how to respond Edan excused herself to finally go to her room. It never crossed her mind that George could possibly fancy her after all the time she'd been apart of the family. Until she saw his reaction to her explanation Edan hadn't believed Remus on bit. Only now did it become clear to her. It didn't matter though, it changed nothing about the way she felt about him or her relationship.
