The first task was only one day away. Cedric was becoming increasingly nervous. Once he found out the first task would be against a dragon he seemed distracted all of the time. Edan was sitting in the library with him studying different types of dragons and their weaknesses. It was proving difficult to find a solution as they had no idea what kind of dragon Cedric would be up against. "What happened to your mentorship?" Cedric asked closing a book about the Peruvian Vipertooth. Edan grimaced at the mention of her apprenticeship with Professor Snape. She had been hoping to never have to speak of it. That wasn't likely though and instead hoped that when the time came to discuss it she wouldn't still be upset over it.

After Edan said goodbye to Remus she returned to her common room to shower and change her clothes. Then she went straight down to the Dungeons looking forward to brewing her first advanced potion without Snape's help. The classroom door was locked when she arrived. Edan knocked on the door repeatedly until Professor Snape opened the door. "Yes?" He growled at her.

Edan raised a brow at him. "Are we not meeting today Professor?" She asked very confused. Snape opened the door a bit wider to allow her to enter. There was no cauldron set out on the table. It seemed they would not be brewing today after all. Snape took a seat at his desk and ignored her. "What's going on? I thought I was making Skele-Gro for Madam Pomfrey. Are you upset with me for seeing Remus or something?

Professor Snape exhaled loudly and pressed his fingers to his temples. Edan stood before him on the other side of his desk. Silence filled the room as she awaited his response. "Your relationship to Lupin has never made sense to me, now it makes even less sense. He treated you poorly from what you've divulged to me. The moment you get to see him you act as if nothing has happened."

His words caught Edan completely off guard. "You have no right to comment on my relationship."

He stood up and rushed around the desk. He stuck a pointed figure inches from her face. "Then you shouldn't speak to me about it!"

His proximity and tone was pissing Edan off. She felt herself getting increasingly overwhelmed by the anger she was letting consume her. Edan smacked Snapes hand out of her face. He looked about ready to explode. She placed both hands on his chest and pushed him. It'd been so long since she had an episode she forgot how strong the curse made her. Professor Snape flew back and hit a table behind him.

Edan reached for her wand and shot an unknown jinx at him. He quickly cast a shield charm just in time to protect himself. He rolled his eyes at her clearly under the impression that he could handle her despite her curse. "Calm. Yourself." He grumbled slowly.

Much to Edan's annoyance the sound of his voice lessened the anger inside of her. Remus should be her silence not the bitter potions professor who was an ass the majority of the time. "I don't even know why I told you about Remus' jealous nature. I won't make the mistake of opening up to you again."

"Yet you still choose to continue your extra training with me. If it wasn't for your silly little curse I'm sure I wouldn't see much of you outside of lessons. Shouldn't Lupin be the one to restore you to your usual self during an episode instead of being the cause behind so many?"

This caught Edan by surprise. It was almost a confirmation that Professor Snape new what she had suspected for so long. "Why do you hate Remus so much? Is there an actual reason or are you just a bitter man who can't seem to let go of the past?" She spat at him.

Professor Snape rose to his feet. "I am alright with being a bitter man in your eyes. Why do you keep making excuses for a jealous man who explodes on you anytime you so much as look at other man?"
