3rd person POV
Rafe and Barry run to the marsh outside of Barry trailer the get into a boat rafe fixes his hat as Barry drives further into the marsh
They drive into the swampy part of the marsh that had trees covering the area they decided to stay there since it was covered
Rafe dugs in his backpack to make sure the gun is still in there seeing it he zips up the backpack he places it behind him
Barry looks curiously as he place it down and place his head in his hands
"I'm for uh defending myself rafe but uh your ass is gonna get shot carrying that thing."Barry tells him
"They ain't gonna take me alive. I can tell you that much right now"rafe says still turned around as they drift
Rafe looks up hear bird cawing
"I've never been back here before"rafe informs him while turning around to look at him
"You don't wanna be seen now,do you?"Barry questions with a blunt in his mouth
"You know everybody thinks nature is chill, right? That's such bullshit everything trying to kill everything else all the time and..."rafe says facing the front of the boat
"And every single thing has to kill to live"
"Killing is nature"he smiles
As they turn
"I don't particularly dislike you rafe but I ain't forget about how your father punked my ass it's long due y'all pay me some respect"he take the blunt out of his mouth and jumps in the water swimming away
"Hey!'rafe turns around to see him swimming
"He's got a gun!"Barry yells
"Rafe stay where you are!"shoupe tells him
"Rafe turns to see all these police boats coming towards him
"Keep your hands where I can see them! Do not move or we will shoot!''shoupe yells holding his gun as they get closer
Rafe opens his bag and picks up the gun he raises his gun about to shoot but the shoot his way first
Rafe jumps in the water using the boat as protection
"Hold your fire! You hit!"he hears shoupe yells
"We don't wanna kill you son but you're making it damn hard."
Rafe loads the gun
"That gun ain't gonna work it's been in the water. Why don't you throw that gun where we can see it?"
"All right. All right"rafe throws it in the water where they can see it sink in the water
"Now,just ease on our away from the boat we'll come to you"shoupe tells him
Rafe moves from behind the boat but tries to run away
"Stop! Damn it, rafe!"shoupe yells as they follow him on the boat
He get to apart of the marsh that has land they jump off the Boat and chase after him
He falls on his stomach they point their guns at him
