CJ'S POV
"How y'all doing?"renfield asked walking towards us with his hands up
I suck in a breath and hold Jay's waist tighter
"You gotta be kidding me"
"Lovely evening were having. Look, I, uh.. I don't hold a grudge with any of y'all, all right? But this can go hard,"he walks closer lifting up his jacket showing he has no weapons
"Or this can go easy. You know what I'm here for."
"Let me give you a little demonstration you see that swing right here?"renfield asked pointing at the swing next to jj
"I got the best bow hunters in the army rangers with me."I moved closer to jay
"Yeah? Mm-hmm"he moves my hands and grabs into the swing
Renfield whistled and an arrow went flying past jj making us duck
I walk back over to him
"Now, they're out there. They'll stick you just ad soon as I say so."renfield walked over to Pope jj stepped out of my grip getting ready to swing the pipe just then another arrow landed near his foot
"Jay"I called stepping over to him but Kie holds me back
"Stop. Let me go."I whisper to her
"Now, I'm not gonna give you a countdown or any bullshit like that.
I'm just gonna whistle"I see Pope look behind renfield at us we all shook our heads not to give him the key
Pope then stuck his hand in his pocket and showed the key
"No"
"Oh"
"This key belongs to my family"Pope tells him
Renfield laughed turning to look at us then back at Pope
"I'm losing my patience with you,Pope"
Pope suddenly hands him the key we all looked at him in disbelief
"Did the right thing kid knowing when you don't have a choice is an under appreciated talent. You be safe."he tell us walking away
"Y'all have a goodnight"
Once we could no longer see him we turned to Pope "I'm so sick of this shit"he sighs walking away Kiara right behind him
"I'm going to sleep"I bump into jj
I change into one of his shirts with some of my pajama shorts
I grab a pillow and a blanket I walk out and lay on the couch I snuggle into the blanket
I hear John b and Jay walk inside
"Night bro"Johny says closing his bedroom door I feel Jay sit next to me
He sighs I turn to him
"You okay?"I ask him
"Sorry didn't mean to wake you"he rubs his hand through his hair
I sit up and wrap my arms around him kissing his head
"Why'd you do that?"I ask him
"Do what?"
