I was tired of their bickering I decided to just run ahead to guard the cross
When I get to the Church I sit next to cross
I hear a car outside I walk over
I see rafe getting out the car he's eyes widen and run over
"CJ what are you doing here it's not safe"he tells me
"I'm just making sure you don't-"
"I mean I don't know I'm just exploring"I stand Infront of the cross covering up with the blanket
"Well what do we have here where are your friends?"renfield asks walking over to us I look at rafe
"I..."I look down
"Nevermind that you know why were here so move out the way."renfield tells me rafe
"I don't know what your talking about"I tell him
"Don't make me do this the hard way"he walks towards me I back away tripping over the cross they look down seeing the cross
"Well lookie here" I stand back up
"You can't take it it isn't yours"I say to him
"Fine."I sigh in relief he elbows me in the face pushing me in the floor
I cry out in pain
"Hey. Man!"rafe runs over to me and moves my hair outta of my face
"I'm sorry."he tells me as I cry
"Rafe! Get over here and help"he stands up and helps him move it into the back of the truck
"Thanks for doing business girl"he closes the door and drives off with the cross
Jj's POV
We run as fast as we can to the church we see no cross and Cj in the floor crying I run over to her
"It's gone"Kiara says
Sarah and John b run over to help me but I wave them off
"Cupcake, which one of those jackasses did this to you"I say pissed but I keep my voice soft I sit on the floor and pull her in my lap I move her hair and see her nose bleeding
"Pope I'm sorry I tried to...to fight them off but renfield he.."she tell him
"It's okay CJ you okay?"he asks her
"Jay it hurts now I know how your dad felt"she cries
"That fucker elbowed you in the nose?"she nods into my chest
"Oh he's a dead man walking"I tell her she doesn't say anything just holds me
"Sarah can you pass me my backpack?"she passes it to me
I grab one of my bandannas and Pope water on it
"Here baby let me wipe your nose"she shakes her head
"Hey. Stop I need to clean you up"I tell her sternly grabbing her chin gently
"It might hurt. On a scale of 1- 10 how bad is the pain?"I ask her
"Maybe a six"she answers
I wipe her nose softly
"I knew I didn't hide it well enough."I tell everyone angry maybe CJ wouldn't have had to protect it if I hid it better
"Okay what do we do, what do we do. Think,think,think,think"CJ giggles quietly I smile at her a little once I finish I stand up and help her up so she can sit in a bench
"We need a plan, we need a plan. What's the plan?"I say I start panting
CJ stands and moves me on the bench with her rubbing my back
I stand up again "all right here's what we'll do. We grab some kerosene tanks from the tanks chat, then we..."
CJ finishes my sentence
"We can go to your dad's shop and grab some dynamite."I nod
"And then we drive to Charleston tell this lady who she's messing with! Because this is some bullshit y'all!"I yell I see CJ flinch I mutter and apology and kiss her head
"That's not gonna help"Sarah tells me
"Then what is Sarah"
"I'm thinking we can't. We can't just blow shit up"John b says in a calming voice
"Pope I'm sorry"I apologize to Pope who's in a pedestal

"Hey I won't okay I'm just sorry okay don't talk like that"I tell her
I kiss her sliding my tongue in
"We can you guys not fuck each right now seriously I've never seen someone kiss so aggressively you look like your gonna eat her"we pull away she blushes
We walked to the twinkie with everyone still complaining
