"Hey open up"Pope says we open it
the crate handing it to kie as everyone climbs back in.
"i thought Rafe got you guys for sure." Kie said watching Pope climbing in
"no. we're chill." Pope said as they all watched John B climb in.
"all right." Kiara sighed once she reached the floor.
"okay, let's put the grate back on."
"no, wait. hold it." Pope says to them
"what? why?" I ask
once John B hopped down we were met with a girl same age as us
I look at Pope to see him gawking at her
"Pope man you got a little drewl there"I whisper to him he shoves me softly
"Who's this jb?"I ask
"remember i told you about the girl we met in the Bahamas that saved us?" John B ask
We nod
"Oh yeah is she the one cj said you ran over?"I ask recalling what CJ told me
He sighs embarrassed"yep this is Cleo. Cleo these are my best friends Pope, Kiara and jj minus CJ"he introduces us
"Ah so this is the girlies boyfriend she wouldn't shut up about I'd say her description is pretty well"we both chuckle shaking hands
"We're gonna get along just fine right Pope?"he doesn't say anything but nods
"Okay but back to business wheres CJ and Sarah? I thought we were gonna get them"I ask
John B, Pope, told me and Kiara how everything went down
"you seriously didn't grab anything, not one single gun?" I asked annoyed
"we tried, okay? got attacked." John B defending himself
"I knew i should have went but no jj your gonna cause trouble"
"let me get this straight. you five, with no weapons, decided you were gonna hijack this tramp steamer on your own? do you have any idea who these people are? Ibrahim, if he catch you, he's gonna kill you. dead. cut off your fingers." Cleo told the five Pogues.
"okay. what about waiting until we get to port? at least then, if something goes wrong, we have a place to run." Kiara suggested.
"no. no, we can't do that." Pope shook his head.
"why?"
"because i've run the scenario over 1,000 times in my head, and our best chances are on this ship, there's 15 crew members and six of us." Pope started to say.
"exactly." Kiara says
