Cj's POV On the way to heyward's shop I was holding jj's hand when we got there we all jumped out over to him we see him the floor the boys help move him on a chair "let me know if I'm hurting you"Sarah tells him putting a bandaid on his head while I stand next to her holding his hand "you're doing fine."he says then he groans in pain once she finished he winches "thank you, darlin"he tells her as she walks away from him "are you okay mr.heyward?"I ask him concerned he nods "I'm fine CJ how are you little lady?"I nod "I'm okay" "yeah well we missed you around here to keep Pope out of trouble"I giggle hugging him lightly before going over to jj "Pop what happened?"Pope asks him "oh,I should've know better.he came in just as I was about to lock up.caugt me by surprise"I look at jj who is fixing his hat I look to my right to see John b look at Sarah before looking down "once he had me down, he put his knees in my chest,and he asked me about that...that key from that drawing you showed me and Incase your wondering I ain't tell him nothing"I see Pope look at jj "now did you track it down?"he asks Pope he pulls it out of his back pocket handing it to his dad "I found it in mee-maw's old apartment above the pharmacy just like you said."Pope sits down next to him "shit,boy you should've gave this to me I wouldn't have to take a beating what's the big deal? It ain't worth anything. Why they want it so bad?"he questions "I don't know. First, I get this letter telling me that I need to go to Charleston. And then I meet this rich lady who wants me to give her a key that I didn't even know was in our family."Pope vents to his dad "none of it makes sense"Kiara says "well don't y'all just sit here whining about it.figure it out!"he tells us I giggle a little bit "no. I'm just gonna give them the key to that lady. It's not worth--"I stop when Pope gets serious again I feel jj kiss my head I smile up at him "no,no,no. Did I raise you to back down from a fight, boy?"Heyward asks him "no, sir"he shakes his head no "well all right now...I didn't think about it before I admit that. But now...now"he points at his head "I'm interested"he admits "did they say why they wanted it?"he questions "something about an old cross. I think it might be some kind of lost treasure."Pope explains "you know who you should talk to? Your great grandma mee maw"he hands the key back to Pope to which he puts it back in his pocket we get ready to leave "yeah and when we find them we give them a piece of our mind"I slam my feet down giving and angry expression I look to see them all staring at me "what I'm trying to be mean"I tell them they laugh jj wraps his arm over my shoulder "I think you're far far mean that face you just made was adorable"I whine "mr.heyward I saw you have some suckers up there can I grab one?"he nods I run into the shop I grab it I hug him tight before we walk back to the twinkie when we finish it was 5:30 "hey guys I'm hungry"I tell them 3rd person POV The guy who beat up Heyward booked a room at a hotel and was washing the blood off his hands while talking to limbrey lady "the Heyward guy wouldn't tell me where the kid was...but I think he's got the key"he says drying his hands off "your pathetic. You think?"she says with a scoff as she sits at the vanity that the hotel had in each room "no wonder why daddy didn't want anything to do with you, didn't you give his name. After you slithered out of that tramp abandoned us for years"she tells her brother taking her medicine "only to come crawling back looking for a payout"limbrey turns to him "I was kind enough to take you in...and all you do is spite me."she scoffs standing up grabbing her crutches"enough alright?"he says walking out the bathroom she grunts and falls but he catches her before she could "easy,easy"he helps her on the bed "I'm gonna die,renfield. Die and soon."she sighs looks at him "do you know what that feels like?"she asks him "I'm sorry. We'll get the key."he tells her "I don't have time for anymore accidents. And stope making excuses, please it's so weak no key.no estate"she lays on the bed as renfield covers her up he nods and walks out
