We all climbed out stepping in water

"Cee you get the winch at the chateau then get a few tools from your mom's house that's like two miles"Johny tells me I sigh

I get there and see that my mom's car was gone I let out a breath and open the door I walk to the closet and open it I find the red container I hear my mom's voice thanking her friend
I go into the closet and close it I see her walk past I squat down I hear her leave going to her room I open the door
I get to the front door about to Walk out but she grabs my arm
"I knew it was someone I should have guessed someone stupid enough to break in you stupid whore",
"Mom please I promise I'll never come her again please just lets me go"I beg tears falling
She slaps me I sob
"What did I do to you to get treated like this"I ask her
"You were the reason your dad had and affair you made him so unhappy you ruined my life you you mistake"she punched me in my lip
"I just wanted you to love me I needed you"I sob more she releases my arm

Jj's POV
We watch CJ go inside I run my hands through my hair
"Jj?"Kiara asks
"Yeah"
"I know you know I still like you but I'm working on it okay I just wish I had someone that treats me like you treat CJ"I turn to her
"I just didn't feel it with Pope I just led him on and maybe I am a bad person"she cries
"Your not a bad person Kiara you just need someone and soon you'll get that"she wipes her tears
"Oh shit jj her mom"I turn about to go in
"Wait."a few minutes later I open my door but I see her run out an sobs
"Let's switch" Kie offers i nod get out I pick CJ up as we walk to Kie's
CJ covers her face sobbing harder "baby are you okay"I rub her back
She still doesn't show me her face I grab her chin and see she has a slap mark and a busted lips
I clench my fist rubbing the blood off
"Cupcake I'm sorry I shouldn't have listened to you"I gently kiss her face and lips she doesn't say anything but she wraps her arms around me
I just say comforting words in her ear
Once we made it to Kiara's I put CJ down I checked the truck making sure her dad wasn't in there
"He's not in there were good."I tell her
"Are you sure you want to do this a little dad theft auto?"I ask her
"No"her and Cj crouch down while I open the gate
"Alright here we go. go,go,go,go,go"I whisper at her she runs inside
Cj's POV
I look up at jj as he examines my face
"I'm okay"I assure him
I gently touches my face
"I can tell when your lying Ciara"I look down
"I'm the reason my dad left her...that's what she told me"
"You know that's not true your the sweetest person I know babe"I smile
"She's a toxic person and if she does this to you she's the problem"I nod he kisses my forehead

Soon Kie runs out she tosses him the key she puts the the portable dryer in the bed of the truck
I jump in the back while she take the passenger side Jay begins to the chateau
"This will only take a sec. I think it's in the surf shack. "Yeah it's in the surf shack I'll be right back. Got it."he get out the car and jumps in a couple broken branches
He face plants to the ground me and Kie both laugh as he falls
"I'm okay!"he yells running off
"Hey kie-" she says the same thing
We laugh
"I'm sorry"she tells me
"It's okay"I smile
"No it's not I gave you so much shit this past year and I tried getting with your boyfriend Im just jealous of you"she admits
"It's okay Kiara really I missed you"I hug her
