Chapter 15: Becoming a .....Mate

Kai has made good on his promise. Once we were alone he told me that he was waiting for the pack doctor to give the OK before we completed the mate bond. He has been treating me like precious china for the past three days. Even though I've moved into the Alpha suite with him. He won't touch me.
I've been pushing myself and going to the gym. Even participating in some of the warrior training to get myself back on my feet. My Sky wolf is finally showing back up and tonight Im going to take her for a run.
I get dressed in a summer dress I picked up at one of the local shops in town. It hangs just pass my knees but the back is completely open from the waist up with straps the zig zag across it. It's light and airy. The fabric is linen. The only caveat is that with the back being open I can't wear a bra. Which I don't mind because the dress is still very comfortable.
After showering I head down for breakfast.  Double checking the mirror before heading out of the room. I made sure my nipples or my panties can't be seen through the dress. With that been said the dress hug my hips. And the peach color of the dress compliments the bronze color of my skin. During the winter I'm the color of honey comb. But summer time I'm the color of Amber. One of the many benefits of my Native American heritage.
Entering the dining room. The table I normally eat at becomes completely silent as I sit down. I look up to see Kai gripping his fork to the point where it has bent in half. I stare him in the eyes. He mindlinks me to go get more clothes on. I shake my head. No Kai. I say out loud. Some of the warriors gasp and others giggle.
All at once he stands up. Leaning over the table he grabs me, and scoops me up over his shoulder.
Omega Gem, he barks. You are now the Luna's personally maiden please have food sent up and placed in the Alpha suite for her. But knock before you enter because the Luna and I need to have a talk.
Kai put me down! I say into the back of his shirt. Alpha Kai as your future Luna and mate. I demanded you put me down at once. I yell. But it's no use he is taking the stairs two at a time. And everyone we pass has their head bowed.
Kai!
Kai what it your problem?
I hear a loud boom as he kicks the bedroom door open.
Kai I say softly.
He turns and slams the door shut and leans against it. Setting me down directly in front of him.
Yelling his voice booms in the room. Where the fuck is your clothes at this morning?
I jump back. Startled. I glare at him.
On my body. As I sweep my hand down the front of my dress.
His eyes are tense and staring me down.
Do you not hear them Leia? He says clinching his fist.
Every last male in this house. Is practically drooling over you this morning. Taking bets on if you have a bra on. For Goddess sake! Huh. Huh! Do you?
No Kai I don't. The dress doesn't allow me to wear a bra. And I'm at home. I want to be comfortable.
Jesus Leia. Are you trying to kill me? Or better yet kill ever horny male wolf within a 5 fucking mile radius?
Kill you? Kai what is your problem? If you don't want me then say it. But don't fucking treat me like this. I yell at him.

Before I could ever understand what was going on Kai has torn my dress and panties off. And has me on my back on the bed.

Shit is right Leia. I have been trying to be a gentleman. I'm trying to be gentle and patient, but you want to push my limits. Now being this close to you. You are within a week of your first heat. I can smell it on your skin.

Kai mindlinks Tyee and Alo to take over his duties for the day that he will be busy. Then asks Alo to have Lena come over talk to Leia and Joan tomorrow along with mama Pen about heat, mating, and getting pregnant by a wolf.
But today. Today I will being marking and mating future Luna. And completing my pack.
Kai slowing comes up my body. Kissing his way up my leg to my thigh and pausing just long enough to press a kiss on my glistening lips. Im nervous. Will it hurt?
Kissing his way pass my navel. Kai looks me in the eye and tells me to relax.
Just breath Leia. Relax. We will take our time. Anything you are not comfortable with tell me babe. I have a lifetime to get to know every inch of the gorgeous body of yours.
I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding just as he captives my nipple between his lips and sucks.

Knock, knock. The sound fills the space.
We grow silent.
Knock knock. I giggle.
Shit Kai says it's Omega Gem.
I bust out laughing. You did tell her to bring food and knock.
Kai turns to me and grins. I like this playful side of my mate. He gets up and jogs to the door. I pull the covers up and Gem comes in with two large platters covered. She looks at me and blushes. Gem I call out to her before she scurries off. Thank you. And that will be all for today. You will find a room at the end of the hall. Just on the left. Move your things there. I want you close. Your are important to me know. Alpha Kai hand selected you. Your job will be helping me as Luna and assisting with the future heirs of this pack. You answer only to Kai, Tyee, Alo, and I.
