The Mystery's of Sky (Marauder's Fanfic)

Chapter 8

Chapter 8: Helena

The Marauder's have tried everything they know about Skylar to apologize to her —- going up to her and saying "We're sorry", Leaving notes that'll sing to her in class that'll say "We're sorry", and doing in fireworks for a prank saying "We're sorry". —- It's not working, none of them are. She keeps on saying "You have to reach deep into your memory's and into your heart for me to forgive you." and walked away from them.

Skylar sighed as she walked away from the Marauder's again after they just turned Professor Slughorn green and silver, words across his forehead saying "We're sorry, Beauty.". Skylar just pitied Slughorn and shook her head at the Marauder's.

"Why wont' they get it?" Skylar sighed to her only friend that's her age at the moment, Lily. She'd be with Harriet or Severus but Severus is studying. Harriet is still in the Library trying to learn Skylar's power's.

"Because their thick, Sky." Lily said simply, shrugging. Skylar giggled. "C'mon, let's go check the records of wizard family's." She grabbed Skylar's hand and dragged her towards the library, Skylar giggling actually happy for once in these few days.

They arrived to the library and couldn't find anything nobody had a daughter named Skylar. Just a lot of Harriet's, Dana, and Grace's. "This is useless, Lil's, there's nothing here." Skylar sighed deeply, closing a book of relatives of witches and wizard's Skylar never heard of.

"We'll figure it out, Sky, don't worry." Lily said, giving Skylar a encouraging smile.

Skylar felt useless and felt like they'd never find this women who is claimed to be her mother or this man who is claimed to be her father, it's like...they don't exist. But how they couldn't exist? Skylar wouldn't be here...right? Skylar sighed, frustrated, and put her face in her hands. Lily looked at Skylar and sighed and puts a hand on her shoulder. "Sky, we'll get this, don't you worry." Lily told her softly.

That didn't really help Skylar, she was close to giving up. "Lils, thank you for your help but —- this is useless! We can't find anything in these books of someone who has a daughter named Skylar!"

"Don't lose faith, Sky, we'll find out who your mother is." That went Lily's eyes widen, you could see the light bulb on top of her head.

"What? What is it?" Skylar asked.

"What if your mother's name isn't in here? The library?"

"Maybe, why? Where could it be?"

"What if it's in either Dumbledore or Filch's office?" Lily proposed and Skylar's eyes widen now, then grinned to her head-headed friend.

"Lily Evans! You're a genius!" Skylar cried, taking her face and kissing her forehead. She grabbed Lily's hand and they both ran out of there.

First place the girls checked was Dumbledore's office. They waited at a corridor when Dinner was close to beginning. Dumbledore left his office, Skylar turned into her wolf form —- Lily knew of her form, Skylar told her when she turned into one. —- and ran towards the door with Lily on her back and they got to his office. Lily got off of her friend and Skylar turned back, rubbing her arms.

"You're heavy, ow..." She murmured.

"Shut up," Lily said and Skylar grinned again and they enter the Headmaster's office.

Dumbledore's office was cheerful, portages of past Headmistresses, Headmaster's, the sorting hat, his phoenix, Fawks, and other doo-hicky's that Skylar never heard of. They went through his files to find a couple who've had a daughter named Skylar at all, so far, no luck.

"It's not here either, Lils!" Cried Skylar.

"It'll be here, Sky, don't lose faith." Lily told her best friend, looking through a file. Skylar growled, frustrated by her parent's not revealing themselves. Lily suddenly gasped making Skylar jumped up. "What!" She said, eager.

"I found a women! Under it it says Skylar!" Lily cried. Skylar jumped up and looked at the paper to see, indeed, a women did indeed have a daughter by the name of Skylar. The women's name was Helena, just Helena. Her last name was scratched off on the old piece of parchment, and next to the women's name was also a scratched off name.

"Do you think that's my father?" Skylar wondered, pointing to the scribbled on name.

"Maybe, c'mon, Fabian and Gideon will be able to help with this." Lily said, stuffing the parchment into her pocket. Skylar grinned mischievously. "Ooo! Lily Evan's stealing from the Headmaster!" She teased.

"Shut up," Lily said, and Skylar smiled. She turned into her wolf form again and Lily climbed onto her white fluffy back, the beautiful decor around her eye. Lily smiled at the decor and Skylar started running again, exiting the office, excited to finally figure out who her mother is.

So...I've decided to keep this story, it's getting interesting isn't it :) you guys guesses are amazing I love it you're all guessing!

Now, PLEASE TELL ME WHO SKYLAR SHOULD END UP WITH BECAUSE I NEED SOMEONE THAT'LL HELP HER WITH HER PARENTS!

Somebody said Remus but I need more opinions.
