Chapter 14: Happy New Years.

The flesh was burned together by Jackson, it wen't on for a few minute or a hour. None of the Marauder's knew. They lost track from all of Skylar's twitching trying to make Jackson stop, in face the Marauder's had to hold the small girl down from harming Jackson so he wouldn't mess up.

Eventually Jackson did put a bandage around the wound to keep it sealed and not getting infected, putting it around Skylar's whole waist, making it look like she was wearing some sort of clothing Sirius would never understand. "Could there be another cause for her going into this kind of state?" Remus asked as Jackson cleaned up his stuff in the sink in the bathroom.

"Well, what happened to her exactly?"

"I can't remember..." Remus sighed and Sirius looked a little shocked by this.

"Can't remember!? Moony, you remember things better then any of us! We would've been expelled from Hogwarts if you didn't remind us of anything." Sirius exclaimed surprise clear in is voice and the taller boy rolled his green eyes.

"Skylar passed out, Padfoot. All that was going through my head is what just happened and how to fix it." Remus argued, puffing out a sigh as Sirius sighed as well.

Jackson seemed annoyed by this and scoffed. "My question. Do any of you block-heads remember?" He snapped and James rubbed the back of his neck. "She said something about going through a allyway and almost getting caught by some Death Eaters, she escaped by using her powers somehow." James told him. "She said a spell didn't hit her though, it was her powers."

"She lied." Jackson said sighing heavily. "The damn idiot, why didn't he tell you the true story." He grumbled angrily, all four Maraduer's completely confused.

"What?" They all say in union.

"Because my mother said the same lie to my grandmother, why do you think my mother is dead and I'm trying to save Skylar so she wont end up like my mother." Jackson explained finishing cleaning and putting the items in a bag and turning to the Marauders.

"Wait, wait, wait." Sirius said, completely confused. "Why would Skylar lie?"

"Because she still doesn't trust any of you. You lost her trust and it'll take a lot to gain that girl's trust again, to be brutally honest with you."

"How did she forgive them if she doesn't trust any of us!?" James explained being completely confused by all of this to be perfectly honest. The rest of the Marauder's look just as confused as James was.

"For many reason's she forgave them and not you. Remus she has this..." Jackson trailed off for a second to find the right words. "...connection I think, she's confusing whenever she's talking about Lupin. Black because he stopped her from storming off or he'll make her smile instead of being moody. Potter, you said some hurtful things and when you do that you lose Skylar's trust which means you'll need to find a way to gain her trust again as your friends did." Jackson explained, looking bored by explaining all of this.

"What about Wormtail?" Remus said looking over to the mousy boy between James and Sirius before returning to looking over to Jackson.

Jackson looked as though he almost forgotten about Pettigrew and that he was in the room, being a quiet boy and making no sound really. "Well." He said rubbing the back of his neck, "I've never really gotten to know you, Pettigrew, and Skylar never really talks about him much. I guess it's because he might believe in her or something, I dunno. But now can I please leave to go see my grandmother and see what's up with Sky and figure out how to heal her." Jackson says, almost demanding for them to move and leave him alone while he left the Potter Mansion.
