Chapter 7

Chapter 7: How To Apologize.

Lily was so shocked at what Skylar explained to her and how Skylar was in danger that Skylar made her promise not to tell her friends, of course, she asked if she could tell Harriet or Severus. She said no. Lily walked back into the Gryffindor Common Room with Skylar talking about random things — childhood, funny moments, and their favorite authors — Lily saw in the usual spots you'd find them were The Marauder's, James and Sirius looking eager to know what Lily found out, Skylar glanced at them with disapproval, disgust, and hatred Lily felt herself go angry and saw Skylar have a glint in her eyes that meant trouble, Lily did what she thought at first was to hold her hand, gladly that calmed down Skylar.

"I'm going to bed, goodnight, Lil's, and remember what you promised me." Skylar said, giving her a look that said Don't Cross Me and walked upstairs to the girls dorms and The Marauder's immediately surrounded Lily. "Well?" Asked James.

"I —" Lily gulped, not knowing if she should tell them or not, it was Skylar's secret and she did say they needed to figure it out on their own. But Skylar was losing time she needed her friend's help. "I found nothing," Lily lied smoothly, deciding they would find out at their own time. "Skylar just told me she's been stressed she's not giving in."

"What was your theory to what she was?" Remus asked curiously and Lily felt herself go nervous but held in that expression so they couldn't read it.

"That she was The Protector of Nature, it'd make sense, but she said she wasn't." Lily lied, again. "You'll figure out what she is in no time, or, even better, freaking ask her!"

The Marauder's were quiet feeling a bunch of Thick-Heads not thinking of that.

"Oh..." Peter murmured.

"Now, would you excuse me? I need to go check on Skylar before she kills herself with a potion." Lily said and walked past The Marauder's up to the girls dorm to find Skylar looking out the window holding something. Lily walked over and puts a hand on her shoulder making her almost jump and let go of a bracelet that had the elements symbols on it, air, water, earth, fire. They had black tiny beads at the end with tiny white hearts and repeated it over and over. "Where did this come from?" Lily asked looking at the bracelet as Skylar picked it up.

"It was my mothers," Skylar said, "she left it in the letter when my parents dropped me on the doorstep of a orphanage..."

"What was the letter about?"

"My name, just my name, that's why nobody knows my full name...it's a mystery." Skylar sighed.

Lily thought for a second and looked at Skylar as she gazed at her bracelet. "How badly do you want to know your full name?" She asked.

"A lot. Why?"

"Maybe we could find out your name? There's books in the library maybe they'll have something about your parents?" Lily said.

"You'll really do that, Lily?" Skylar asked, shocked.

"Of course, Sky, I'm you're best friend I'll do anything for you." Lily said and she smiled to her weakly and hugged her and Lily hugged back.

"I love you, Lily." Skylar murmured into her shoulder.

"I love you too, Skylar." Lily replied, smiling.

"I think we messed up big time, Moony." Sirius said.

"Oh, you think!" Remus said sarcastically. "Why didn't we just ask her? It'd be so much easier to just ask her, it's her business. Anyway."

"I don't know..." James sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "How are we going to apologize to her? To get her back?"

"Maybe we could just go straight up to her and say we're sorry?" Peter suggested. The Marauder's considered this it could work, Skylar was a stubborn girl and whenever she was mad at the Marauder's she'd scold them and then ignore them the next day until they apologize to whoever they messed with or if they pissed her off.

"That wont work, Pettigrew." Said a voice you could recognize anywhere and the Marauder's look to see Fabian and Gideon.

"How?" James asked.

"Because, Potter, you said you wouldn't know if she was bad or not. It'd take a lot more then to say "I'm sorry" to Sky. You have to look into everything you've ever known of Skylar to know how to get her trust and friendship back." Gideon explained.

"And what'd that be?" Sirius asked.

"Reach into your heart, Black, you'll figure it out." Fabian winked and be and his twin walked out of the Common Room to go prank Mrs. Norris the fifth time today leaving the Marauder's wondering what they could do to get their precious Beauty back.

Been a while since I've updated hasn't it? Huh.

Anyways, I've been having trouble actually. Thinking if I should delete the story or just put it on Hold because there's a story I want to publish super badly that'll be Harry Potter but it'll also be a Harry Potter/Percy Jackson crossover.

My idea is what if Lily had a daughter with Poseidon named either Brooklyn, Rose, or Blue. She'd be Harry's little sister but also Percy's. She'd meet him in her second year (A.K.A Third year) and go on adventure to save Grover from the Cyclopes.

But this book would be the character's reading it, like, their reaction to it (I've been reading a lot of those...hehe ^u^)

Only it's in Brooklyn/Rose/Blue's point of view and I'd changed the book's a little.

The title would be Jackson's and Potter's Little Sister

I know I've put this story on Hold before because I wanted to publish a story but I really like this idea and dunno what to do. Actually, forget me deleting this. I love writing Skylar just...tell me what to do because I'm stuck.
