Chapter 13/New Cover

Chapter 13: The Fire Within Her

Skylar hasn't changed her condition at all, as usual, they did the usual thing to keep her alive. Skylar would mumble in her slumber of Jackson, Sirius, Remus, Jame's and the Prewett twins. The Marauders and Jackson trying to figure out what it was about. "Do you know what she's talking about?" Remus asked Jackson as he was gathering up some ways to close up Skylar's wound.

"It's memory's about us all." Jackson said as he grabbed some matches, James eyeing him suspiciously. "What exactly are you doing Parkinson?" James says and Jackson looked at him as he counted his stuff.

"What? Oh, I'm going to burn Skylar's flesh together since the stiching isn't ---"

"YOU'RE DOING WHAT!!" Yelled the Marauders making Jackson jump. "Burning the flesh." Jackson says calmly. "And keep your voices down! It's the only way to keep the wound close and from getting infected, they did this in all wars and it's another way to close a wound, also remove things, it might be painful and Sky could go deeper into her slumber but it's the only way in making her not get a bad infection."

Sirius looked at Jackson as he crossed his arms. "And you know this'll work how? What if she goes into a deeper slumber, or worse, a coma."

"Because I learned this by Pomfrey, she taught me the ways of healing Skylar when she passed out from when she needed to do the air one." He says as he gets everything and started to walk upstairs to Skylar's room.

"Do you know how to do this properly?" Peter asked nervously.

"Of course I do, Pettigrew, I've done this a million times on dummy's."

"That's reassuring." Sirius muttered sarcastically and Jackson rolled his eyes. "Have a little faith in me, okay?" Jackson says as he got everything set and looked at the sleeping Skylar, her breath even, but her side bleeding. He pulls down the blankets and lifts up her shirt to see the wound perfectly, it looked the same as always, the string to the stitches halfway burnt. Jackson pulled the string out easily, but Skylar still flinched from it, and he got everything set to start the burning of flesh.

Skylar was in agonizing pain in her slumber, she was in hell-sh world with red sand and fire everywhere and it felt like it was 100 degrees in the place, the heat not going down, and no way in getting it down. The flames would calm down whenever somebody would give her something to keep her alive but if they were a little late, the flames were uncontrollable. Skylar had no idea what she was going to do and was terrified, weak, and just afraid. "What am I going to do?" Skylar said quickly as she hid behind a little mountain of sand, holding her side that was injured. She's been hiding here stuck in her own mind, she's tried getting out of this slumber and has...only once and it hurt like hell. She didn't know what to do she wanted to get out of here to see her friends and be much more better and actually have a good holiday...

Skylar sighed and leaned her head back against the mountain of sand, a tear slipping from her eye as does some sweat. She wiped away both things and focused on trying to figure out how to get out of here when all of a sudden she felt a horrible pain on her side making her scream out. "AHH!" She yelled looking at her wound which was clamped together, like somebody was holding the skin together, and suddenly a burning feeling came quickly after that making her scream in aggony. "STOP!! PLEASE, T-THAT HURTS!" Skylar yelled in pain to the red sky, tears streaming down her face. The pain didn't stop though.

"P-Please!!" She sobbed. "It's not working! It hurts too much. Please, please!"

Skylar sobbed tears running down her face, the pain so horrible, Skylar was paralized with pain in a fetal position gasping and sobbing, just wanting everything to stop...

HEY MINIONS!

Sorry, it's been a while since I've updated, I know, and you've probably seen the past couple of months I've actually changed the Cover Photo.

I actually shared this story after keeping it a secret for so long because I don't know if this story was even going to work out like planned, but I finally said something to Facebook to show all my friend's on there and my mother (yes I'm friends with my mother on Facebook, I'm cool!) told me that I should change the title to Mystery's of Sky instead of The Mystery's of Sky's.

So, she practically kinda made me changed it which lead down to me changing the cover needing to find a photo and everything and tada!

Again, sorry it's been a while since I've updated. I've been going through some rough Writer's Block and I've been writing some chapters for My Friend and finished up Fairytale Girl and Charmed In Storybrooke, it was all crazy. But I am back and I'm going to TRY and update as much as I can, I cannot promise I can, but yeah...
