"Louis, what are you doing?" I say, as he practically drags me up and out of the Dining Hall and takes us to the front of the school.

His eyebrows are scrunched together and he doesn't say anything.

"Louis, honestly. Where are we going?"

Finally, he sighs and says "Let's go for a walk."

I give him a baffled look. "What?" i splutter. "Are we even allowed to leave campus like this?"

"Yes, goody two shoes. We're Year 12's. We're allowed to leave campus, Y/N. Now stop worrying about getting caught all the time." He says with a smile.

I stand and stare at him reluctantly. I have always been a good student. I will not ruin that. But if we're allowed to go.. then why not?

I finally give in and we start walking out the front gate. We walk towards the bus stop without saying anything. I assume we're going on the bus, but we pass the station, and i look up at Louis and finally say "Where are we going?"

He looks down at me and mumbles "There's a plaza down there," He points to a gas station. "We're going there."

"So. Who was that? In the Dining Hall?"

He presses his lips to a thin line. Finally, he says "James. My roommate."

"Oh. Why didn't you bring him? That was a bit rude, i'm afraid. We left him by himself."

He looks at me for a moment, and then relaxes his shoulders. I didn't realize he was so tense for the last few moments. "I think he wants to get to know you."

I'm at a loss for words. I mean, what do you even say to that? I highly doubted it, first of all.

"But i don't think of him like that." I say, after a moment of silence.

"Listen. I can only warn you. James isn't really the nicest guy. I know we're roommates and all, but it wasn't my choice. I'm not friends with him."

I stare at him, my mouth agape. I thought they were friends? "Why were you sitting with him in the Dining Hall, then?" I question.

"We're in the same friend group. I really don't like him. I just put up with him for the sake of my friends. They're all nice, i just don't know why they don't see that James isn't. I mean, I've known him longer than they have, so that could be part of the reason, but i just wish they knew. Everyone had left before you came. I was just left with him since i wasn't done eating."

"Then you should tell them about him. Maybe it'll change their minds."

"I don't want to ruin our group. It's okay. If the truth is meant to come out, it will."

"That's right." I smile at him.

The mood seems much better now. We walk to the gas station, and it turns out to be a much bigger plaza than i had thought. There's all kinds of shops there, and i drag Louis to my favorite clothing store.

After a while of roaming in stores and window shopping, Louis and I decided to get ice cream.

As we're eating, we talk more about Louis's time at Blue Reign.

"Yea, I've been here since Year 10. That's when i met James and Lilly. They used to be together. They lasted for like, a year. That's when i found out how James was really like. And since then Lilly hasn't left me alone."

"James and Lilly?" I exclaim. "Like James and Lilly Potter!"

"Oh, that's right, i never noticed that!" We laugh about it and finish off our ice cream.

We walk back to the school after we finish, and Louis helps me carry my bags. I may have bought just a few new clothes.

"Oh, Y/N. I still have your schedule."

"Looks like it's my turn to sneak into the boys' dorms today." I laugh.

We made it back to school, and it's just about time for lunch. Most of the students are making their way to the Dining Hall, but a great number of Year 12's are probably going to walk to the plaza to avoid eating the food here.

Louis has a few bags as well, as i managed to get him to buy a few things that i thought would look good on him. I also insisted on paying for him, to pay him back for the lollies he had gotten for me a day earlier.

We successfully make it to his dorm, and it's empty.

The boys' dorms look exactly like the girls' ones, but the desks and beds are a light brown, whereas the girls ones are a dark brown.

The room is quite messy, and Louis apologizes. But i don't mind it. I have a brother and a busy mom, after all.

"I forgot about the possibility of James being here. I'm glad he's not." He says.

I completely forgot about him sharing a room with James.

I'm just about to agree with him, when suddenly, the door opens, and a figure steps in.

It's James.

How ironic.
