I fall asleep not long after connecting the dots in my head.
I have the most wonderful sleep I've ever had at Blue Reign.
Maybe it's because I've been almost relaxed enough to let my brain have some rest.
Just maybe.
When i wake up the next morning, Evelyn isn't in our room.
I assume she's taking a shower, as she always does, and so i don't think anything of it.
I grab my phone and sit up in my bed.
I open Instagram, and see that Louis posted a story.
It's of me, with a butterfly on one hand, and a coffee cup in the other.
The picture actually turned out adorable, and i'm glad he took it, even though i wasn't when it was being taken.
I smile and like the story, swipe up, and respond "Good morning to you too, Louis"
Evelyn walks in shortly after, and i ask her where she was.
"I went to go shower really quick. Aidan invited me and you to a skate rink party, just a few minutes walk away from here. It's apparently a big group thing."
I nod reluctantly. "When is it?"
"At 12. It's 11. "
I groan. That means i have to get up now.
"What are you wearing?" I ask Evelyn. "I'm borrowing your dark green sweatshirt. Pairing that with blue jeans" she says with a smile.
I take up my phone whilst nodding at Evelyn. I decide to call Aidan and ask for more details.
This doesn't seem like a normal hang out.
I look through my recent facetimes and find his number, from when we group called a few days ago.
It rings for a bit before he picks it up.
A : Hello?
Y : Hi. It's Y/N.
A : Ah, Y/N, I was meaning to call you in a few minutes.
I walk back into the dorm and watch Evelyn put her makeup on.
Once she's done, she turns to look at me. "Y/N? Are you wearing that?" she gestures to my tank top. "It's freezing outside. You'll die."
I frown at her. "Ev, I'm so sorry, Louis and I made plans today and I forgot about them. I'm gonna have to cancel on the party."
She pouts. "But Y/N... I don't know anybody there. I need you."
"No, It's okay. You'll be okay. You've always been quick at making friends. Besides, you know Aidan."
She wriggles when i say his name. "Fine."
I smile and hug her, and then I climb back into bed.
"What are you doing? I thought you had plans?"
"I do. Later. After I sleep for an hour. Or two."
She sighs. "You suck." she says, as she grabs her purse and heads towards the door.
"Have fun! Call me if you need anything!" I call out.
"I will. Bye."
I wait a minute after i hear the door close, and then I throw my sheets off me for the second time in less than an hour, and I call Louis.
L : Good morning, darling.
I don't say anything.
Darling.
He's never called me that before. But I like it.
Y : Good morning, pear tree.
I laugh at my attempt to create a unique nickname. He laughs too.
Y : Did Aidan tell you about a party at a skate rink?
L: Yes.
Y : Lovely. Meet me at the main entrance in 30 minutes?
L : Yes, miss.
Y : Oh, shut up.
I laugh and then hang up the phone.
I quickly grab my towel and my toiletries, and take the fastest shower of my life.
My hair is a complete mess and I'm going to need a lot of time to make it look somewhat normal.
I decide to wear gray full sleeved shirt, along with blue jeans.

Then i take 20 minutes to brush out my tangled, knotty hair and straighten it a bit so it'll tame. I quickly throw on some lip gloss and eyeshadow, grab my purse, and practically run to the main entrance.
Louis is already waiting there. I made it on time this time, thank god.
I greet him with a hug and take his hand, and we walk towards the rollerblading rink.
Louis is wearing a white shirt, and a red and cream colored baseball jacket, along with dark blue jeans.
We walk as fast as we can, and when we finally arrive, I strictly instruct Louis not to go anywhere. We need to wait at the entrance, where you're supposed to sign up. When we hear one of Evelyn's favorite songs come on, I take Louis hand and slowly lead him into the room, so as to not be seen.
I can just make out Evelyn and Aidan sitting at a table.
He pulls something out from a bag and presents it to her.
She opens her mouth wide and smiles, and then nods.
I let them hug for a moment, and then I grab Louis' arm and run towards them.
We both squeal and I hug her. I whisper "i'm so happy for you." into her ear, and she hugs me tighter.
Louis and Aidan wrapped their celebrating up with a handshake and a "Congrats, lad."
Finally, Evelyn takes Aidan's hand and takes him out onto the rink, and she waves Louis and I over.
He takes my arm, and we give Evelyn a magical morning to remember.
