Larry's POV

Sal and I were down there for what seemed like forever, yet it felt like it went by so quickly at the same time. We talked about anything and everything we could think of, and I feel as if that brought us closer together.

Though about an hour before Todd, Neil, and Ash were supposed to get here, Sal just went quiet, his face scrunching up every now and then. I stayed silent for a few minutes until the silence became unbearable.

"Sal? Ya okay, man?" I ask, concerned.

"Huh? Oh yeah, Red is just being an ass," He says, sounding scared.

"Oh, alright...is he trying to take control?"

"Yeah, though I just have a headache right now."

I nod and try to change the subject, just wanting to get his mind off of the demon to make things easier for him. He is already on edge because of the exorcism scheduled for today, I can tell.

"Man, Ash still hasn't brought down my weed. I was gonna bust out the special stash too," I say, looking over at him with a smirk.

He chuckles, "save it for when this is all over. You best believe that we're getting high after this."

"Definitely." We both laugh, but our joy is quickly ended when Sal jolts and inhales sharply. "Woah, Sal! What's wrong?!"

"He wants control...and he's hurting me so I'll give it to him-" He lets out a yell, tugging against the chains once more.

I quickly pull out my phone and call Todd, mainly to yell at him to get here faster. As him and I are yelling at each other, Sal's screaming suddenly stops, which stifles mine and Todd's voices.

"Did he pass out again?" Todd asks.

I open my mouth to speak, but all of a sudden, Sal sits up and looks over at me, his eye red once more.

"Nope...get here now and get this damn demon out of him!" I say, hanging up and putting my phone back in my pocket. I look back over at the demon, angry at what he's doing to MY Sal.

"Oooo, such a passionate expression, Larry. If I didn't know any better I'd say that you hated seeing me," He said, not bothering to distort his voice to sound like Sal anymore. Now It was just deep and dark.

"I do hate you, we all do. What do you want with Sal?!"

"Quite frankly, that's none of your business. Did I possess you? No, no I didn't." Just as he says that, Todd, Ash, and Neil barge in. "Ooo, more guests. Wonderful. I've had yet to meet the rest of you."

They all run over to me, scared looks on their faces. Ash leans over and asks me what's going on in a low whisper. "Other than him taking over and taunting me, nothing at all," I say.

"You pain me with you harsh words, Larry. Now, glasses over there, due tell why I am chained to the floor."

Before Todd could say anything, I pipe back into the conversation. "You'll find out soon enough, dickhead. Todd, is everything ready?" I ask, wanting to get this over with.

"Yes, however there are a few more small preparations Neil and I must do. In the meantime, you and Ash can watch the demon and makes sure he do anything," Todd says, grabbing his backpack and guiding Neil around the room.

Ash and I nod, walking over to the demon though still staying at a safe distance. The demon chuckles, looking at me and Ash with a sly smirk.

"Oh goodie, I get company. What should we talk about? Hmmm, perhaps you both would like to know the state of your friend? You both seem very worried." Ash instantly says yes, so quickly that someone would think that she thinks Sal's dead. I nod and the demon laughs some more. "You both look so concerned. It's hilarious!"

He just keeps taunting us, to the point where I almost couldn't stand it. And if Ash didn't hold onto my arm, I probably would've lunged forward a the demon in a blind rage. Though I realize that if I do, I will probably end up hurting Sal while I try to hurt the demon.

Todd, I swear this better work...
