a few days had passed since the party, jisung was still a bit sick but he was much better than before thanks to chan who had stayed over until jisung's fever had died down.

after getting better, jisung decided he would head home for a week to spend some time with his family which meant minho was officially jisung-free for a whole week.

"ah chan isn't it just a wonderful day?" he sat down on the chair, "wow the snow is just beautiful"

chan laughed and playfully rolled his eyes, "he went home didn't he?" he laughed again when his best friend nodded, "it's good to see you happy"

"i'd be like this all the time if he stayed at home..but we aren't going to talk about him, it's a jisung-free week!"

felix placed the drinks on their table, "why do you hate him so much? he's so sweet"

"eugh..he's anything but sweet, plus i said we aren't going to talk about him!" he turned to felix, "thanks for the drinks by the way"

"of course anything for sung's friends" he spun on his ankles and walked back to the front of the cafe.

after meeting up with chan, minho decided to text seungmin and meet up with him. they decided to go to the winter market and have a look around at the different stalls.

the place was full of food and small game stalls, it was lit up by fairy lights which were scattered around the place. the smell of fresh street food made the pair hungry so they found a stall that looked good and ordered a snack.

since the event was organised by their university, a lot of students were there so the place was packed, "i guess not many people went home for christmas" senungmin said as he scanned the area.

"crap i totally forgot that it's this weekend" he would most likely spend it alone in his room trying to finish work for his criminology class.

"i'm planning on heading home tomorrow, my parents don't want me to spend christmas alone"

"i'm excited to spend it alone, no awkward family dinners and no nosy relatives" and no jisung either he thought, "it'll be relaxing"

"oh look our foods ready!" seungmin exclaimed as he took the food from the lady at the stall, "thank you so much"

"it looks so good" they both said before digging into the rice cakes.

the two spent a few more hours at the market, they played several games and even bought some small things from the stalls.

minho bought a pair of earrings for himself and a matching pair for chan as a christmas present, he also bought some rings along with a cute phonecase he found.

seungmin bought a bracelet and some rings as well, "today was so fun, we should definitely hang out again sometime soon"

minho nodded, "for sure..i had a great time" he shoved his hands into his pockets to warm them up, "have a good christmas seungmin!"

"you too min!" he waved and started to walk away, leaving minho standing there smiling at him. he was happy he'd made a new friend.
