"how do you two even know each other?" hyunjin asked as he picked up his glass, "like aren't you a dancer?"

minho shook his head, "i am but i also take criminology, i'm in his class" he said. "we met at the party where jisung got smashed and you fucked my best friend"

"hey we don't talk about that!" the blonde slammed his hand on the table, "it was a mistake! i was drunk, he was drunk..it got messy"

"everyone but us was smashed at that party" seungmin laughed, "but seriously hyun? minhos best friend??"

"no seung listen, he's so very hot" hyunjin laughed as seungmin rolled his eyes, "you have to meet him"

minho noticed how quiet jisung was being, he'd barely touched his food and looked spaced out. he slowly moved his hand and placed it on his upper thigh to get his attention.

"everything okay?" he asked quietly and smiled when jisung nodded.

"didn't you two like hate each other?" hyunjin sipped his wine, "how did this even happen?"

"it just did..don't really know how" minho answered, still focused on jisung. "i just uh need to talk to ji for a minute is that okay?"

"oh yeah of course" seungmin replied, so minho got up and jisung followed him.

he took the boy to their room and shut the door so their friends wouldn't hear their conversation, "hey..talk to me" he pushed jisungs hair out of his face.

"i thought having hyunjin over would've helped but it didn't..i feel even worse"

"should i ask them to leave? i'm sure they'll understand" he suggested.

jisung nodded, "please just tell them i'm sick or something"

"of course" he smiled and left the room, shutting the door behind him, "sorry about that"

"no it's okay, is jisung alright?" hyunjin sounded concerned as he'd noticed his best friend seemed upset.

"not really..he just feels sick, is it alright if we continue this another day?" minho asked.

"of course minho, just take care of him please..he's not the best at asking for help when he needs it" hyunjin said, getting up from his chair.

"i'll try my best hyun" he smiled.

minho held jisung in his arms as he cried, he comforted him by kissing his forehead or playing with his hair. he didn't stop the brunette from crying, he knew it was best if he just let all of his emotions out.

"it's okay sung" he wiped jisungs tears and kissed each of his cheeks.

the boy sniffled, leaning his head on minhos chest as more tears fell from his eyes. it broke minhos heart to see jisung like this, but he couldn't do much.

when minho had first found out that jisung struggled with his mental health, which was back in high school, he researched into it to find out how to help people when they feel alone or upset like this. he saw loads of articles about staying with them and making them feel safe and comfortable, he wasn't able to do that before but now he could.

"let's try to get some sleep love, you barely slept last night" he said while moving jisungs hair out of his face, "maybe it'll make you feel better?"

the brunette nodded, shuffling away from minho so he could pull the blanket over himself. once they were both under the blanket, minho pulled jisung near him, wrapping his arms around the younger boy who rested his head on minhos chest.

he placed his hand on top of jisungs head and ruffled his hair, "we'll get through this together.."
