minhos mom slapped his hand away from his tie, "stop fidgeting" she said as they walked into the restaurant.

"i don't know why i had to wear this, we've known ji's family for over twenty years.." he frowned, he hated wearing formal clothes and he didn't understand why their parents had to be so fancy, it was just a dinner.

"mom they've literally seen me in diapers, why do i have to wear this stupid suit" he whined.

"because this is a nice place min, you can't show up to a nice restaurant in your sweatpants" she replied to him.

minho rolled his eyes as they walked over to their table where jisung and his parents were waiting. he watched in awe as his boyfriend stood up and fixed his suit, he'd never really seen jisung in a suit so he was surprised by how good he looked in one.

"you alright min?" jisung asked and all he could do was nod.

once they'd all greeted each other, they sat down around the table. minho and jisung were seated opposite each other, which meant jisung kept catching minho staring at him during conversations.

as time went on, both boys had taken off their blazers, a blush appeared on minhos face when he saw jisung loosen his tie and roll up his sleeves.

"seriously minho are you okay..you're really red" he teased the older, "we can step outside for some fresh air if you'd like" he leaned forward on the table.

he shook his head, "no i'm good..i'm fine" he loosened his own tie and opened the top button of his shirt, "it's just really hot in here" he laughed awkwardly.

"so minho, have you found yourself anyone at uni?" jisungs mom asked him, "i know our sungie has a boyfriend"

fuck, jisung forgot to tell his parents that felix broke up with him, "um i don't think minho's comfortable with answering that"

minho looked over to jisung, hoping his expressions would tell him what to say, "i uh..i don-"

"me and minho are together" jisung cut minho off, everyone on the table was now looking at him, "we're dating.."

he looked over at minho, who looked very pale. his head was facing the floor and his leg was bouncing up and down, "is it okay if me and min step outside for a bit?"

jisung stood up and grabbed minhos hand, leading him to the back of the restaurant.

"what's wrong.." he placed one hand on his boyfriends cheek, the cold metal rings on jisung's hand made minho flinch, "why are you upset.."

"i'm scared..w-what if they see me differently now" minho had never really come out to his parents, even though they always had a rough idea, he never really openly told them.

"i know they'll support me but what if-"

"min, your parents love you more than anything..they won't care who you're with, they just want you to be happy" he tucked minhos bangs behind his ear, "they'll be proud of you"

"you two are dating? as in you're boyfriends.." mr lee said, "i thought you hated each other"

"we did..but now we don't?" minho replied, he didn't really know how to answer that question.

"i've never been happier, jisung you've made me so proud" mr han said to his son, "i don't care what happened between you two i'm just so happy you boys are together"

the pair laughed at his reaction, "we're proud of you too min" his dad patted his shoulder, "but this means no more sleepovers"

minhos head shot up, "what? no that's not fair, dad we literally live together..plus we're adults" he protested.

the parents laughed, "we're joking min, and you two are alone for the next two days..we're going to jeju for a weekend getaway" his mom added.

"just be sensible okay?" jisungs mom said, "and be careful too".

jisung blushed and hid his face, "god you're so embarrassing".
