later that evening, both minho and jisungs parents noticed how quiet they were. jisung had been ignoring minho since the cafe, and minho didn't understand why so it frustrated him.

"you boys alright?" mr lee asked as he sipped his drink.

"we're fine" minho replied, clearly annoyed.

"did something happen?" he asked again, this time jisung replied.

"i think we should head home now mom.." he turned to his parents, "i'm quite tired"

"i thought you would want to spend the night here.." she said but her son shook his head, "hm alright then"

the brunette got up, "let's go" he picked up his phone from the table.

jisungs parents said their goodbyes and left the house, they only lived two doors down so it didn't take them long to get home.

as soon as they'd left, minhos parents began questioning him.

"what happened? did you two fight again.." his mom sat down next to him, putting her hand on his shoulder, "it's normal min, couples argue and especially if they have past like yours and ji's"

he rolled his eyes, "everything was fine he just started ignoring me"

"well did you say something that might have upset him?" he thought about her question for a few minutes, but nothing came to mind so he shook his head.

"are you sure?" she asked again.

"maybe..i don't know" he sighed, "i'm going to my room.."

"and he told her we're friends" he scoffed and crossed his arms, "why didn't he just tell here that we're together..it's not that hard"

"jisung, it might not be hard for you but it might be really difficult for minho..you don't know how he feels" his dad had asked him about why jisung was so upset with his boyfriend.

"you've always been open about your feelings but min hasn't, he's always been a private person and you of all people know that"

he was right, jjsung never had any difficulty in expressing his feelings and was never secretive about his sexuality, whereas minho was.

"i'm not justifying what he said but you have to take into consideration that he's just not ready, you saw how panicked the poor boy was when you told us"

the brunette nodded, "yeah..i guess i didn't really think of that"

"go talk to him before this gets worse, i don't want to see you two fighting again"

minho was standing at jisungs doorstep, he'd received a text saying 'come over' around 5 minutes ago so he stood waiting for someone to let him in.

when jisung finally opened the door, they both went up to his room and sat down on either side of the bed.

it was silent for a moment but then they both spoke at the same time, they laughed awkwardly.

"you go first.." minho said.
