We went inside his car. He started his car's engine. Instead of driving his car to get out of the parking lot, his body faced me.

"Oh?" Nagtaas ako ng kilay. "We're going to talk here?" Turo ko sa aming pwesto.

Hindi ko alam kung saan ko nakuha ang lakas upang maunang magsalita.

Dahan-dahan siyang tumango.

"Bakit dito?" I arched my brows when I saw him locking the doors.

"I do not want you walking out on me." Ngumisi siya at muling humarap sa akin.

Napirap naman ako. Paano naman ako makakapag walk-out dito?

Damn! So... we are going to talk about our past? Simula sa umpisa?

Huminga ako ng malalim.

"So where are we going to start?" I bit my lips.

Agad akong nag-iwas ng tingin nang maramdaman ang malalim niyang mata.

I think I am ready to talk about this—with him. There is no use of trying to avoid this conversation with him, lalo na't may pinaplano na pala siya para sa aming dalawa.

It will be a good start to clean up our past, for Xanley and for us both.

"When you left?" He slipped his hands on mine, holding it tightly.

Tumango ako. "Do you remember what happened at the m-mall before?" Simula ko.

"Yeah," Sagot niya sa paos na boses.

"Well, uh... Jane saw me at the ice cream parlor, I was with Kendall." Dahan-dahan kong sinabi.

"Hm?"

"You know what happened, right? 'Cause you were there?" Nag-iwas ako ng tingin.

"No, I did not saw everything. Can you tell me everything?" Seryoso niyang paki-usap.

I looked at him. The pain was evident in his eyes as he tries to catch my gaze.

I cleared my throat. "Well, your ex-girlfriend, Jane, went batshit on me. I was talking with Kendall."

"What did she say?"

"You know... that I stole you from him, we cheated, and everything. Basically, what a heartbroken woman would say to someone who broke of her relationship." Binigyan ko siya ng maliit na ngiti. "Well, I understand where she's coming from. I'll be mad too if it happens to me." I laugh a little to wash away my pain.

"Then uh... she physically assaulted me and Kendall. She pushed me on a table." Nag-iwas ako ng tingin at inalis ang aking kamay mula sa kaniyang pagkakahawak.

Pinaglapit ko ang aking kamay at pinaglaruan iyon.

Nakita ko ang pag-igting ng kaniyang panga.

"Nakita ko na mayroong hawak si Jane na vase so..." Mariin akong pumikit. "I pushed her, Jordan." Unti-unting pumatak ang luha sa aking mata. "That's why she bled." Humarap ako sa kaniya. "Then you came."

"Stop crying, baby. That wasn't your fault." Malambot niyang pag-alu sa akin.

"Then... Soon after you left, I was also brought to the hospital. I was pregnant with Xanley and I also bled, dahil sa pagkakatulak sa akin ni Jane. Jake, 'yong nakita mo na kasama ko sa restaurant noong nakaraan, and Kendall, helped me."

"Fuck!" Narinig kong mura niya.

"Noong nagising ako sa ospital, fortunately, Xanley was okay. I was 5 weeks pregnant. Hindi ko alam na buntis na ako noon, t-though I felt some symptoms. Hindi ko lang talaga inakala na mabubuntis ako." Pinaglaruan ko ang aking mga daliri.
