"My sweet best friend, what the hell did you do the last two periods?" Izzy exclaimed when I sat down at our table at lunch.
"I had to help Ashton study. I'm his tutor remember, that's what I do." She had this look in her eyes like she didn't believe me and she didn't let my lie pass her.
"Then why is your hair such a mess?" She asked.
"I couldn't brush it this morning, because you locked me up for the night remember."
"You put a elastic in it. It isn't there and your hair is a mess. Tell me the truth." She frowned and narrowed her eyes at me. Luckily Luke interrupted her.
"Stop the interrogation. If it was important she would've told us already." I shot him a thankful look and started eating my pizza.I finished it before I spoke.
"This is heaven." I said. Someone behind me spoke up and sat down beside me.
"I totally agree. Pizza is the king of the world." I looked to see Michael.
"How do you know pizza isn't female. Than she'd be the queen of the world." Another voice said to the left of me. Calum. "Thing 1 and thing 2 what are you doing here? And where's the cat with the hat?" Izzy said.
"Who's 1 and who's 2?" Calums asked.
"Michael is one." Luke told them.
"But he already has shotgun." Calum mocked at which Michael just snickered.
"Calum shut up. Ash is still busy with getting his hair done. He's been doing that for two periods." Izzy shot me a look like I thought you were lieing to us. I gulped and moved to stand up but two hands on each of my shoulders stopped me.
"No no no. Don't leave. We still have a few questions." They said in unison.
"Not you too. Izzy already had an interrogation. Luke please help me." He shrugged his shoulders giving me the I'm sorry look and I glared at him. "Never ask me for favors again Hemmings." He threw his hands in the air and stood up.
"I'm gonna get my stuff. Izz you need to get your biology and physics homework from your locker remember." They exchanged a look and got up. I tried to protest but they were already gone.
"I need other friends." I muttered and I let my head fall on the table.
"Don't hurt yourself. Ashton needs you if he wants to graduate." Mike said.
"Yea he's not exactly passing this year." Cal said.
"How bad can it be at the beginning of the year?" I asked.
"The point where he misses stuff and homework from last year." Cal said and I gasped. They can't be serious. I drifted away in my thought till it became dark for my eyes. But not from fainting or anything. "Guess." I heard his voice and I felt the corners of my eyes curl up slightly.
"Irwin. Get your filthy hands away from my face." I took them in my small hand and pulled them away from my eyes before turning around. I look into his beautiful hazel eyes and just couldn't look away. The color was so mesmerizing. I felt Mike nudge Cal and they stood up. "Bye Eliza. See you in training Ash." I didn't look at them or tried to pry my eyes away from Ashton he seemed to get a tighter grip.on my small hand making them invisible for the world. Then the bell rang.
"You can let go of my hands now." He said. Why always so insulting?
"I would've if yours wouldn't be holding mine in a deathgrip." I sassed him and we both let go. I stood up and picked up my bah. "See you in the locker room." I winked and walked away. I felt his fingers circle my wrist and I was pulled back into his chest. I felt his hot breath on my cheek as he whispered in my ear. "What if we go there now?" How tempting his offer may have been I couldn't skip this class because he's the only teacher to note an absent the other teachers just didn't care enough. I pulled back and looked around. Seeing nobody was here anymore I quickly kissed him. "I'll see you there." With the taste of his lips on mine I left towards biology.

As we left our last class we walked straight against the hall filled with Halloween posters.
This years Halloween party will be different from all you know.
The football team and cheerleading squad are organizing the party.
Tickets can be bought at the administration after school.
Everyone come or face the trick.
Cause this night is all about trick or treat.
Well at least I'm sure Ashton could have never written that. He's not nearly good enough to write that or he'd have done all his homework by now. It still shocks me that he didn't do his homework earlier. I wish he had done it. It would be spared me a lot of trouble. I made a mental note to myself that I'd ask the teachers If they could let the homework drop so he'd only have to concentrate on this year. "Eliza are you coming?" Luke asked waving his hand in front of my face. "It's not like you're going anyway."
"Maybe it'll be fun." I said and Izzy yelled.
"Yes. Finally you're going to a party with me." She put her arms around Luke and I and started walking towards the door. "We need outfits and make up and a ride and so many more."
"Yeah yeah. You just go to your mom and think about it at home." I said getting irritated by her joyfulness.
"She's right Izz we need to go. Mom's waiting." We said our goodbyes Izzy hugged me. We both weren't the extremely physical persons so it shocked me a little. "If something happens," she whispered. "Just know I'll always listen. I'll be here when that jerk hurts you." She pulled away and before they walked away she said one more thing. "Nice hicky by the way." She winked and walked away to her mom's car leaving me stunned as ever. Couldn't she have told me earlier.
