Mizuki awoke in a room with a small table, at the table sat a figure with writings scribbled all over her arms. She was covered in bite marks. She lifted her head and Mizuki recognized the girl, it was Harmony!
Harmony's eyes had a symbol in them...in both of them there was the kanji for number 5. Just like Citrus's eye that had a 6 in it.
"H-harmony...what...what is that?" Mizuki asked, terror ran through her body.
Where was she? Why did Harmony have a kizuki symbol in her eyes?! Where was Inigo? That became Mizuki's top priority. She already had lost her once and she didn't want to lose her again.
"Mizuki-san..." Harmony begun in a gentle voice.
Then her eyes began to well up with tears and her voice cracked, she tried wiping her tears and she looked just like an abused little kid.
"I'm so sorry! You must hate me now-"
Before Harmony could even get the sentence out Mizuki rushed into her arms and embraced the poor little devil. She was just glad that Harmony was ALIVE now! It didn't even matter if she devoured Mizuki right then and there.
"I'd never hate you...never..." Mizuki said, trying to calm the crying girl.
She didn't even hate people like Aku or Ike, or Sanemi or Shinobu, she had compassion for all accept for Muzan. Harmony could feel someone's presence and she took Miki by the hand and they started running down the endless hallways.
They ran straight into the person that Harmony was looking for Kazane. He saw Harmony and knew that something was up, he had been there when she quit working for Muzan. Mizuki was a little confused.
Kazane used to be some aggravating skinny demon that yelled a lot, but he suddenly seemed to have all of this build on him. Well, Mizuki had never actually seem him without baggy clothes on, but why would he hide muscle?
"If I try, I can get Mizuki to safety, but I don't know where Inigo is!" Harmony explained.
Wait...how did Harmony know who Inigo was? How did Harmony know who Kazane was? Mizuki had so many questions but the demons promised that they'd explain things when they were safe.
They split up. Kazane was off to search for Inigo and Harmony and Mizuki were trying to find a way out.
"Can't you just use your blood demon art like last time and teleport us out of here?" Mizuki asked.
Harmony had a blank stare on her face.
"My dear, that's not how blood demon art works..."
Mizuki tilted her head in confusion, Harmony sighed. They kept searching.
While all of this had just taken place Inigo had woken up in a cushioned bed with Douma in the room. They were actually good friends so she wasn't worried about this setup...until she remembered that she had Mizuki with her now.
"Douma-san!"
"Yes my dear?" He asked while turning around to face her.
"It is an honor to see you again, but I seem to have lost my friend. Her name is Mizuki and she has sort of pink hair..." Inigo began.
Douma gave a bit of a crooked smile and laughed sweetly.
"Funny you say that! She's my friend too~" He giggled.
What? Mizuki isn't friends with Douma, I bet that she doesn't even know who he is. Something doesn't feel right... Inigo thought to herself.
"Where is Miki? This isn't a request, it's a demand." She said coldly.
"Sweetheart you know that you aren't the one who gets to give orders. I hate to do this, really I do, but even if we're friends somethings have to be done!"
Douma took Inigo by the hand, which confused her. He threw her into a closet and she landed on some clothes...which were covered in poison.
"OW!" The poison burned on her lower back and arms.
The Kizuki locked the closet and Inigo heard him walk out of the room. How could he do this to her? They were friends. Inigo pounded on the door but after awhile it was no use, the poison was getting under her clothes and it burned so bad!
She felt like she wouldn't last another minute, but right when she began to pray for death the closet door opened and she fell out onto the floor.
"But who-?!" Inigo turned to see a familiar face staring at her.
"K-k-kazane?!"
The spider demon backed away in confusion. Was it some clone demon pretending to be him? She didn't know for sure.
"Get up you stupid spider we gotta move fast." He said crudely.
Yup, it was definitely not a clone. Inigo tried getting up but her legs were numb from the poison, Kazane noticed this quickly.
"Hey I wanna ask you-" Inigo began but he cut her off.
"Any questions you have will be answered later, now get on."
He bent over and gestured for her to get on his back. Inigo didn't really have a choice since she'd probably have died if it weren't for his sudden arrival. As he was running down the halls she started noticing how strong he was.
She was able to beat him in a fight 9/10 times, with him beating her only by luck. He didn't really have a blood demon art and he always wore baggy clothes to hide his dumb skinny body.
At least, that was what Inigo had always figured. But she hadn't ever been this close to him, and she could tell that he had lots of muscle, yet he hid it anyway. Wait...was he letting her win at those times?!
Inigo didn't like thinking about that.
When they finally met up with Mizuki again Inigo's legs had mostly healed and she leaped into her sisters arms.
"I was so worried about you Miki!" She sniffled.
She looked to the side of Mizuki, and she saw a beautiful woman wearing a black kimono.
"Who is-"
"Harmony. I guess you finally stopped posing as a child huh?" Kazane scoffed with a sly smirk.
Harmony rolled her eyes and giggled. Mizuki had gotten things explained to her while they were looking for Kazane, apparently since Harmony had been alive for almost a century she aged into being a lot older a lot quicker.
However she wanted to appear unthreatening to both friends and foes so she kept herself in the form of a child for so long. Actually her adult form was quite beautiful, but she felt embarrassed by it.
"Harmony, how are we supposed to leave? There's no exit!" Mizuki said.
"I have a plan. If we can somehow get Muzan to let one of us leave, say, Inigo, then we can maybe sneak threw whatever exit Nakime opens. However the timing must be right!" The black haired demon explained.
"And how the hell are we supposed to get Muzan to let one of us out?" Kazane asked in a sour manor.
Harmony walked to the end of the floor they were standing on, she gazed upon the infinite sets of tatami floors among shoji doors. Really it would have been a more pleasant sight if Harmony didn't know the evils lurking in it.
"That...is what we are going to figure out..." She whispered.
