𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖕𝖙𝖊𝖗 7: 𝖂𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖓𝖔𝖜?

(Not gonna lie this chapter title is the process of how I made this)

Mizuki woke up in a room with lots of beds. Tanjiro was talking to Kanao and they seemed to be having fun, meanwhile Giyuu was sitting right by Mizuki's bedside.

"Ah-! Oh um sorry, I didn't notice you..." She said.

"It's alright. I only came here to tell you that Fumiko is going to be staying with someone else since you aren't fit to take care of her in this state." He started to get up but Mizuki tugged on his coat and asked "What about Emi? Is she doing okay?"

"sleeping." and with that Giyuu pulled harder and he was able to escape Mizuki's grasp.

What should I do now? Mizuki thought. It felt like everything in her life had come to a stop, she didn't really have much she could do anymore. Mizuki got up and walked around the shady house for a bit, even though she had to avoid the sunny parts. She found Fumiko by a kotatsu in a random room in the middle of the house crying on it.

"I hate it here! I just wanna die!" She screamed.

"You don't mean that..." Mizuki said kindly and walked over to comfort the little girl.

"I DO! I REALLY REALLY DO!" Fumiko was thrashing and crying and Mizuki could only feel pity for her poor soul.

She had lost her family, lost Mizuki to a new life, and her sister was taken away to who knows where because she was a demon.

"It'll be okay I promise I will defeat one of the 12 Kizuki and I'll come back to take care of you and Emi again." She said, because that's all she wanted now.

Just like everyone she had lost what was once a perfect life and she wanted it back. Tanjiro was clearly trying to make her fit in but, it was still very clear Mizuki was an outcast. She'd probably always be that way. Three young girls walked up to Mizuki as she was walking in a hallway.

"Do you need any rice or water miss?" They asked.

"Oh could I please have some rice? You girls are so nice!" Mizuki complimented.

"Sure thing miss just hang on a minute!" The girls started to walk off and Mizuki could hear their whispering...

"Why did you offer her rice?"

"Shinobu said to be nice to the demon girl, I had to!"

I see... Mizuki thought to herself. She stormed off to look for Shinobu. When she finally found her, she was talking to Giyuu about some event.

"I really think we bonded in that forest with all the spiders!" She cheerfully said.

Giyuu pointed to me without a word and Shinobu looked behind her.

"What do you need?"

"I should be asking you. What do you want from me? Why did you force those girls to like me? WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Mizuki didn't want to have another episode like last night but she was getting close.

Giyuu just got up and left.

"What ever do you mean?" Shinobu asked in a clueless voice.

Mizuki walked over and sat where Giyuu was sitting.

"I'm a demon, remember?"

"Mizuki have you noticed anything? Maybe how you have...been angrier lately? I heard you fell into Tanjiro yesterday because you fainted. Odd isn't it?" As shinobu was explaining this Mizuki started to put the pieces into place.

"Nezuko had slept for years at a time which is how she gets by. You haven't slept, or really ate, not to mention your on a non human diet"

At this point the butterfly hashira had a serious and almost evil look in her eyes.
