Kunikidazai Oneshots

1 | Exactly Like Him

Gunshots could be heard in an underground subway in Yokohama. The ada mainly Dazai , Kunikida and Atsushi have been tasked with an extremely dangerous mission which involved an ability user and missing children.

Another gunshot sounded as Dazai moved to narrowly avoid getting shot in the arm. He looked over to see Atsushi who was partly transformed taking out some of the guards the user hired. Kunikida was tasked with finding the children and getting them out alive.

Cases like these which involved children's lives on the line were hard , especially for Kunikida who handled cases like this but unfortunantely ended in the worse way possible.

However , Dazai knew they had to finish the mission , defeat the user , take him in for questioning and then arrest him. This mission was just as important as the others. Once its all out the way , he could worry about how his boyfriend was handling this.

"Too slow!" The user said as he pulled the trigger on the gun and the bullet successfuly hit Dazai in the arm. "Dazai!" Atsushi shouted as he was busy taking out the rest of the guards.

Dazai clutched his now bleeding arm and glared at the user. He was going to end this now. He removed his hand from his arm and got ready to fight. They both moved towards each other and a full blown fight had broke out.

Meanwhile with Kunikida , he was chasing two guards who were carrying a child and shooting at him as they ran. The guards had stopped at a dead end. Both Kunikida and the guards pointed their guns at each other ready to shoot.

It seemed that there was no choice but to shoot. Kunikida still held the gun and aimed for the guard. He had to shoot. It looked like it was the only way. But there was a chance the bullet could end up hitting the child instead which was something he would like to avoid.

The guard shot first aiming for his face. Kunikida was lucky enough to move out the way in time. He had no choice. He raised the gun and aimed it at the guards face and shot but he missed as the bullet hit the wall behind.

It soon turned into a shooting match. As each shot failed to hit the shooters they were both getting tired and desperate to end this.

Footsteps could be heard in the distance as guns were raised one more time. "Why , are you doing this?" He asked. The guard laughed and said nothing. "Kunikida!" A voice shouted.

Both Kunikida and the guard looked to see Dazai was running towards them. But what worried Kunikida was that he was bleeding from the arm. He turned back to the guard.

"Its over. You're both too late." The guard said Dazai looked at the scene before him as he stood behind Kunikida. "You've lost and now they die!"

A somewhat similar scene played in Dazai's mind , it was Oda and another guy both pointing guns in their faces before they pulled the trigger at the same time. Why is he starting to notice this now?

He was starting to realise that Kunikida and Oda were similar to each other in a lot of ways. As he heard them both pull the trigger all he could see was Odasaku in Kunikida's place.

Dazai soon rushed to what he thought was Odasaku's side in his last moments. "Odasaku!" He shouted. 'Odasaku' put his arm on Dazai and looked at him.

"Dazai. " He smiled at him. No. He's going to die again. "Don't die." He shouted. "Not again. " He cried. Dazai was completely unaware of who was actually infront of him and where he was.

Kunikida was beginning to get worried as Dazai had called him 'Odasaku' and thought he was going to die. He didn't know who Odasaku was but he assumed that he and Dazai were close.

Kunikdia placed his hand slightly on Dazai's face. It seemed to have an effect as Dazai as his eyes were wide as he looked back at him.

Dazai was brought back to reality as he felt a warm hand on his face and he  realised that  he wasn't in that building and 'Odasaku' was really Kunikida.

He looked to see both the guards dead and the child that was with them was most likely with Atsushi. Once all the commotion finally calmed down , it was just the two of them for the time being.

It was best to have a little time to themselves before they met up with Atsushi again."Hey , its ok. I'm here." He said quietly. He soon moved to wrap his arms around Dazai.

This action shocked Dazai a little untill he realised that Kunikida was giving him a hug as if to let him know that he was here and wasn't going anywhere any time soon.

Dazai returned the hug and held onto Kunikida as if he was to dissapear if he let go. As they stayed like that for awhile a thought suddenly popped into his mind.

'He's exactly like him ....'

I feel like that Oda and Kunikida are similar to each other but I could be wrong.

Ik I have lots of fics to focus on but I had ideas for Kunikidazai stuff so I was writing this instead. Im still idealess for my bsd oneshots book lol.
