Chapter 8: Arrival of Luna

Maddox's POV:

After long tiring journey of 13 hours we are finally in front of pack house. Its 5 o'clock in evening. Everyone is at pack house. Children are playing around. The elders are also sitting and talking around. I carefully picked my mate she is still sleeping in my lap. First I was worried that she is not waking up so I asked Julie. She said her body is tired she needs to boast up her energy to wake up. But she already sleep for whole two days so she will be awake soon.

I carried her in my arms and walked out from my Austin Martin Vanquish. Yup I love cars so I have many of them and I don't use pack money. I buy them from my own money which I earn from my business company in human city. Many for my pack members also works in my company.

As I start walking towards pack house. I saw pack members curiously looking at the girl in my arms. They still don't know I have found my mate and their Luna. I just ignored their curious stares and made my way towards my Alpha Residence.

I entered in my room and placed my mate on bed and pull covers over her. I took shower and changed my self in casual clothes. I then mind linked everyone to gather in pack yard at 7. And then I walked towards the kitchen and found an already prepared meal for me. I thanked pack cook Jane. I saw her around here since I was young. She is really nice and kind lady.

I eat my food quietly. I was leaving for my office when I hear some pack unmated girls talking non-sense about my mate. One of them said "Who the hell she thinks she is". Another one added "that bitch was hanging in Alpha's arms like she owns him". The first one again added, "You know no one is ever invited in Alpha residence but Alpha took that whore in his room". Just hearing their non-sense I feel my wolf taking over me. Before he can take over completely and cause some serious damage I entered in packs living room and there I saw group of 7 girls sitting on the couches.

They all stand up and bow their heads in respect. But I don't give a damn about them giving me respect. "Next time if I caught anyone of you talking non-sense about my girl I am going to abominate you from this pack if you want to stay you need to respect everyone. Do you understand my words". I stated coldly, my voice was full of authority and they nodded their heads and said "Sorry Alpha" they are trembling with fear I can see their bodies shaking.

I turned and left them and reached inside my office. "You should punish them or at least teach them a lesson". My wolf Blake growled through our link. "Now you are over reacting Blake I already warned them and they still don't know she is their luna" I replied back calmly.

I then hear the knock on my office door and I saw my beta
Luke standing there. I nodded my head and told him to ask whatever he want to ask. "Alpha Can I ask you why you called sudden pack meeting". I signed and answered him by looking towards him. " The girl in my room is your Luna, I want to inform everyone about her". Hearing my words I saw his reaction changed from shocked to happiness. Off course my pack members are going to be happy to meet their Luna after so many years of waiting.

"Anything else you want to ask Luke" I asked him in my emotionless voice."No Alpha I will just go back and check out the pack borders". I dismissed him by nodding my head.

After sometimes I got up from my office chair after I did some paper work. Its 7 o'clock.
" Is everyone there" I asked Luke through our mind link. "Yes Alpha" hearing his answer I walked towards back yard and saw the yard full of pack members muttering and talking to each other. They quite down once they saw me and bow there heads in respect.

"Thanks for gathering here on such short notice. I hope everyone is doing well. Today I want to inform you about the moment everyone was waiting for is finally arrived. Many of you saw the girl with me in evening and are curious that Who is she? Well she is your Luna and my mate." I saw everyone's expressions after comprehending my words they start cheering. Well I guessed right they are happy and I already know that they are going to protect her.

After dismissing everyone. I went back to my room and when I entered in my room. I stand their in shock. My mate she is awake and is looking around, confusion is written all over her face. And once she realized my presence she looked towards me. Our eyes met and world stopped around me.

Hazel's POV:

I opened my eyes but closed them again due to the bright light. I again opened them and after blinking for sometimes my vision get better. The mattress felt so soft beneath me wait what. Since when did my mattress felt soft. I quickly get up but it wasn't a good idea because my whole body was aching. So I slowly sit down on the bed.

Now I start remembering what happened to me before I was sleep. After reminding myself everything. Now I observed the room I am in. The walls are gray, there's a large window covered with white curtains, couch in corner, there's also large LCD on wall in front of the king sized bed where I am sitting right now and there is a painting of wolf hanging on the wall. And there are two doors I guess one is walk-in closet and other is bathroom.

I heard the foot steps so I turned my head in direction of noise and my breathe hitched in my throat. He is Alpha Maddox James Forest. What the hell he wanted me for?Why he carried me along with him? Where exactly I am right now? There are so many questions and I want their answers right now. I saw him moving towards me. So I just move backward and soon my back hit the headboard. "Hey I am not going to harm you. I know you are confuse but its okay. I will answer every question you have so just calm down and don't move much you are still injured." His voice is so soft and calming, I want him to speak more to me but what is wrong with me. Why I am thinking things like this?
