Chapter 14: Prophecy of Pure Blood

Maddox's POV:

When I reached near the pack border I saw my 5 pack guards already fighting with 7 rogues. Blake quickly take over the control and ripped the heads of two rogues after shifting. After few seconds they were all dead lying on the forest floor.

On my way back to pack house I saw pups playing in front of pack house. Looking at them I think about having my own pups. That must sounds crazy but I big bad wolf actually love pups a lot and I hope my mate also like them as much as I like. Its been a long time since I had a family. So I want to have a family of my own. I wonder how life will be after 10 years from ahead.

Looking at your mate is the best feeling I have ever felt. I can stare at her face all day long. Julie give my mate second blood shot and she checked all the vitals attached to her arms. She left after saying goodnight.

I walked towards the couch near her bed and lay down while looking at her. I now think about the reaction she will have once she woke up. Will she be angry with me? Will she hate me for this? Just thinking about that I fall asleep.

Sleeping at couch wasn't the best idea last night. My back hurts like bitch. After Hazel's morning blood dose. I visited the pack training grounds. Everyone knows about what's going on with their Luna. They give me sympathetic looks but I keep my expressionless posture. God I really miss her.

In evening, I finished my work quickly and walked towards Ethan's house. He lives near pack border with his parents and his mate.

I saw Ethan already standing outside I think he was waiting for me. After greeting he took me inside the house. His mate Katie and mother Elizabeth both of them left us alone after they greeted me. We are now sitting in Ethan's study.

"So what did you want to tell me and why you want to tell me here instead of my office?" I am still confused why he choose his place instead of my office or pack house.

"Because I not only want to tell you but also want to show you something " I can't see his face, his back is towards me while he keep searching for something between the books on shelf. And then he turned around with a book in his hands and with a worried look on his face.

"Alpha you need to read this." He placed the book in front of me on table and sat across the table on chair. I looked at the book curiously. It looks like an ancient book with red leather cover and the title is written with golden "History of pure bloods".

The title really caught my attention. It looked very old but is still in good condition. I looked at Ethan who looked worried and confused so I asked him " What is it Ethan you are worrying about?"

"No, its just nothing just read that book already I will tell you after you will read it." he said impatiently.

So I just opened the book and started reading it out aloud. I usually don't read out aloud. So I read all the part of history that Ethan already told me.

" I already knows what's written here so why the hell I am reading this" I asked Ethan after pausing for a moment. I seriously don't understand why he want me to read what I already know.

"Be patience, and wait for the twist just keep reading cuz you don't know everything Alpha, trust me" looking at his confident face. I start reading again. After reading it for some more time. Something really caught my attention.

The title of the chapter was written as "prophecy of last pure blood mates" That title really caught my attention. 

When I read it says,
                
                    "There will be a time when wolves will get power hungry everyone will try their best to mate with pure blood she wolf to rule over all packs of wolf race. There will be blood shed for it. At that time of destruction, a pure blood she wolf  will give birth to a male pure blood wolf. And that pure blood wolf boy will mate with a powerful pure blood she wolf and they both will destroy the enemies together in the battlefield. They will meet before 14th blood moon. They will both rule on whole werewolf race. In their rule there will be peace and justice in werewolf world. Both will have a powerful bond that no one will be able to break".
