Chapter 19: Half- Shifted

Unknown person POV:

"Sir we found the car but they abandoned the car in middle of nowhere" the person mind linked the mysterious person.

"Well that's not my problem you're a dog you can follow them without even a tracker" the man replied furiously.

"But..S..Sir" the man stuttered while talking.

"But What don't tell me you can't even smell them" mysterious man again said angrily before the other person continued.

"Sir, due to recent rainfall on this location, we can't smell them anymore and now we don't know which direction they went from here" the man once again stated while trembling with fear.

"Just f***ing find them, I don't care how you are going to find them" the mysterious man blocked the other trembling person after he finished.

Maddox POV:

"Umm, Alpha how much your mate have told you about herself and how much did you investigated about her" Stephen asked nervously.

"She told me about death of her mother and her step family. And some other relative information that I found out" I told them while my patience is running out.
Blake also seems really uncomfortable.

"Actually Hazel was abused right after her mothers death because his father thinks she's responsible for her death and he and his wife made everyone to believe in it" Stephen said while looking down towards his hands but what angered me was how can someone abuse a small little helpless child.

"And everyone believed in the s*** they told everyone" Blake said while taking control. He is more angry than me.

"We have no other choice other than to believe them, they announced that whoever will help or felt pity for Hazel will be banished from the pack" Lacy stated while looking towards me.

"Tell me everything my mate went through but make it quick" I said while controlling blake from taking over me and before my patience run out.

"Luna Clara murdered Hazel's mom back then along with her mate" Stephen stated while waiting for my reaction.

"So you mean Clara's real mate, but how is this possible she rejected her mate before getting married to James that's what I found in records" I said while thinking about the record information I read about Clara.

"No, this is what she told everyone but in reality she never rejected her mate, I mean if we look at her she don't look like someone who got rejection" Lacy said confidently.

Now I think about Clara, I just met her once or may be twice. But recently when I visited Winter Wood's pack. I also saw her acting fine. She don't look depressed like people look after rejecting there mate. No matter how much they are happy with there life. And then I remembered something.

"Did you ever got the chance to see the mark of rejection on her neck or on her arms" I read about it somewhere, the person who reject there mate or a person who is rejected, got a rejection mark on there arm or neck.

"No, we never saw anything like that but we saw that her mate marking don't look normal, we haven't seen such mating mark before" Stephen said while thinking about something.

"Can you draw her mating mark here on paper?" I said while placing a paper and pen in front of them.

"Yeah sure I can draw it" Stephen said while taking pen in his hand he started drawing while I asked Lacy to tell me about further thing that they wanna talk about.

"As you know everyone at our pack bullied Hazel on our Alpha's command, after the death of our parents we lived with our grandfather who don't give a damn about us. He just sit inside his room mourning over his mates death. We felt alone and helpless. That's when Luna Clara came to us with an offer" Lacy said while looking towards the glass window behind me.

Before I question her what offer she was talking about Stephen placed the drawing paper in front of me with a weird mark on it. I think I will need someone's help to find out about this mark. I haven't seen such mating mark in my whole life of 27 years.

"So what was the offer Clara came with?" I asked them curiously while looking away from the drawing paper towards them both.

"Umm, she promised to give us warrior status in pack in return she wanted me to torture Hazel on daily basis and I did it because she hadn't got time for that along with her Luna duties" as soon she finished her sentence I lost my control on Blake and he half shifted and jumped towards lacy and pushed her back with wall.

Blake held Lacy's neck while digging his claws in her neck. We were both furious on what she did to our mate just in return she will become pack warrior. Blake growled loudly while Lacy was choking to free her neck from my grip, Stephen was also trying to get my hands away from her sisters neck. But Blake just kicked him away. He fall across my office table in process shattering table glass in pieces and wood into splinters.

Stephen then ran out of my office and called Luke for help. After some moments Luke and Cameron came along with five pack warriors and Stephen, when Lacy was about to die in my grip. They pushed me away from her. Before I caught her back I saw Stephen running out of my office along with that bitch.

She dare to touch what was mine. I just can't let her go like that.

"Listen Alpha you need to control yourself before Blake went on rampage" Luke said while practically begging me while five pack warriors along with Cameron held me on the floor.

I just don't need to listen them. I will kill that bitch once they left me alone. I tried to push them away to free myself while growling loudly.

"Alpha you will scare Luna if she found about it. What if she woke up while you are half shifted" Luke once again stated.

I think about her Hazel eyes her beautiful smile, her eyes filled with fear. No, I don't want her to fear from me. I want her to love me, to trust me. Thinking about her calmed me and Blake. So he give me back control.

After I shifted back in my human form. Warriors left me alone while I was breathing heavily on the floor. When I caught back my breath, I looked around the mess I created. My office table is now completely broken, there are also cracks on wall and floor of office.

I then looked at my clothes, sleeves of my shirt are completely shredded during half shift. I calmly get back on my feet and while ignoring everyone standing around, I started walking towards my room. When I finally reached outside my room. After taking a deep breathe I entered in my room. I saw her laying there , she looked healthy and more beautiful than before. She's not skin to bone anymore. Her scars are gone after the appearance of her wolf.

I sat down near her on bed and start moving her hairs away from her fore head. She will woke up once my spell will be removed. I know she will be angry but I will win her heart back no matter what.

After kissing her forehead I went into my closet and get changed after taking shower. I don't know what I will do with Lacy if I saw her again. I think once Hazel woke up she will decide what she want to do with her but for know I send a mind link to Cameron and instructed him to make sure Lacy and Stephen don't roam freely around pack lands.

I don't really trust them after what they did to my mate.
