Complicated

Freakin Werewolf

"You better have a really good explanation for- for everything. You said things like pack and scent and Allison kept looking at me like I shouldn't have been there, so tell me what is going on."  I exclaimed as we walked through the door. 

"Ok, ok just sit down and I'll explain everything" Scott said gesturing towards the living room

So he did. He explained everything.

"Werewolves! Freaking werewolves. You're a freakin werewolf" I yelled starting at his clawed hand "And that girl you were looking for was Lydia from two summers ago and she was bit by the former alpha?" "But now Derek, its Derek right, is the new alpha and you girlfriend's dad wants to kill you" I asked still confused

"Yes, all of it's right" Scott said calmly

"Ok so do I need to prepare for any other supernatural creatures?" I asked

"As far as we know only werewolves" Scott informed "And you know because you know this your at risk to be in harms way"

"I know Scott, and I can protect myself. Do you really think Dad never taught me how to shoot a gun?" I said

Scott chuckled "Anyway we should getting to bed, you have your first day of school tomorrow" he said 

"Uh don't remind me" I complained heading upstairs

"She ate the liver?" I asked as Scott, Stiles and I head up to the school

"No, I didn't say she ate it. I just said it was missing" Stiles corrected "And even if she did, so what it's the most nutritious part of the body" 

"I'd just like to say I never ate anyone's liver" Scott jumped in

"Oh yeah, cause when it comes to werewolves you're a real model of self control" Stiles retorted

"I'm going to need context to that later" I said to Stiles

"Actually Scott, your like our test case for this. So we should be going over what happened to you. What were you thinking about when you were turing?" Stiles asked

"Allison" Scott replied sheepishly

"Ok, nothing else? Seriously?"  Stiles wined

"Nothing else mattered. But that's good though right? Cause the night Lydia was bit she was with you" Scott said

"Yeah but she was looking for Jackson" Stiles said turning towards a guy getting out of a Porsche 

"That's Jackson?" I asked "He looks like a douche" I said

"He is" the boys say in unison 

Later that evening after Kate Argent's funeral, who I learned was Allison's syco werewolf hunting aunt the boys and I are lying on the ground hiding from Sheriff Stilinski as we do our own investigating of the bloodied ambulance.  Scott is about to go out to look for the werewolf responsible when Stiles says "Just, I need you to find her. Alright. Please, just find her" 

"I will" Scott replies leaving Stiles and I alone

"Do you like her? Lydia I mean" I asked

"I've liked her since kindergarten but she's not interested so it doesn't matter" Stiles replied right as a shadow appears above us

"I see you've replaced your usual accomplice" Sheriff Stilinski says to Stiles

"Hey, Dad, you remember AJ right, Scott's sister" Stiles replies as we stand up

"Yes, Hi AJ it's nice to see you again, Melissa mentioned you were visiting" He said smiling "But that still doesn't excuse you to hiding at a crime scene so with me now." 

As the Sheriff and I are catching up we suddenly here Stiles say "Lydia?" We both turn toward the direction where the boy is yelling her name.

"Well, is anyone going to get me a coat?" Lydia says lifting her arms to expose her naked body. Stiles fumbles with his fathers jacket before face planting. When the Sheriff removes his jacket I ask "Do you want me to?" 

"Um sure" he replies

I walk over to Lydia with the jacket "Here" I say helping her into it. I place my hand on her back as I lead her to the back of the Sheriff's car. I help her in the car then get in next to her. Stiles has jumped in the front passenger's seat and starts ambushes her with questions. "Stiles, not now." I warn, turning towards Lydia noticing her hand is shaking; I put my hand over hers and squeeze gently. "Thank you" she says I nod in reply 

Stiles and I wait outside Lydia's hospital room as my mom examines her.  A few moments later my mom comes out to tells us we can see her but she still on edge. Stiles offers for me to go in first. 

"How are you?" I ask entering the room

"Been better" Lydia replies "I know you don't I?"

"Yeah, I'm Alyssa or AJ we met 2 summers ago." I say

"Right, it's good to see you" she says 

"You too, but I'm assuming you want to rest and the sooner I leave the sooner Stiles can come in here and the sooner he'll be gone." I say and we both laugh 

As I turn to leave Lydia says "Give me your number and we'll catch up" 

"Yeah here" I say writing my number on the notepad at her bedside 

When I'm out of the room I ask Stiles for the keys and tell him I'll be in the car when he's done.
