SONNET 91

The wind lies receptive cove, better the blanket

Ties the wishes hiving evenings hurt, our sun's piece

Drew pieces mirth, he recalls, completing bunk beds

Idle and fin'lly cool; with gold 'sif star-fired fleece

Strained palm leaves call'ng, night and day, us in diff'rent hues.

In unions fly his temple true of walls, that were

No longer walls, but toned touching as touches knew;

the tombs of yester-night desert our pool hither

Such sparks thithered, that insuff'rable paint blotch soothe

Vague, yet better'n opaque, in shielding leaved autumn crust

transfer then cloudless prove, those facades now more couth

Than facades transfused well shadows dew, once dark, trusts --

his immured, fanged the mouth like Cassius away.

Now, sunder knitt'd enjoys outside and in we lay.
