You stretched your limbs in preparation for another H2H this morning. You and your friends are already in the HQ, early birds as per your nagging.

You were welcomed with angry scowls when you woke them up bright and early, but when you told them you cooked breakfast, they softened. "Porke't alam mo kasi kahinaan namin, beh e." Shein complained while munching on the scrambled eggs.

"Kung 'di ka lang masarap magluto, matagal na kitang pinatumba talaga," JD added.

You only laughed at their empty threats. You just have a hate-love relationship with your bestfriends.

Now that you have more time on your hands due to your VL, therefore more rest too, you made sandwiches for the whole team. Something to munch on throughout the day.

Adjusting to this temporary vacation was hard for you at first. You almost didn't know what to do on your idle time. You're so used to always working, but the campaign occupied you so it's still good. Though force of habit, you still check your emails from time-to-time. You just can't help it.

Pau and Casey were the first ones to arrive. You asked them if they already had breakfast, to which they responded with no. You gave them food and they were grateful for it.

"Paggising namin kagabi wala na kayo sa van." Casey said as he's eating his sandwich. "Medyo nakakatampo, hindi man lang kayo nagpaalam muna."

"E s'yempre mga tulog kayo. Wala rin sa hulog 'yung mga anak ko kaya hindi na kami nakapagpaalam." You answered while pointing at your friends who are by the murals, making TikToks. "Tsaka nandito na tayo, 'di ba?"

"Kahit na." Casey pouted.

You chuckled and ruffled his hair. "'Musta naman mga online class niyo?" You asked the two college students.

"Kinakaya pa naman. Pero mamaya nga may online class kami, Ate Y/N." Pau replied. "Tinry kong makiusap na i-adjust na hindi tatamaan campaign time pero hapon kasi 'yung class. Baka hindi ko magawa trabaho ko temporarily."

"Oks, we gotchu fam. Magaling naman sina Shein sa camera." You answered.

Pau nodded. "Salamat, Ate Y/N. Dabest ka pa rin talaga kahit nakakapikon ka madalas."

You laughed. "Malaking bagay din naman talaga 'tong pinaglalaban natin ngayon, pero hindi pa rin ibig sabihin n'on e isa-sakripisyo ninyo pag-aaral niyo. Kailangan makapagtapos kayo ha!"

The two young photographers nodded in affirmation.

"Thanks ulit sa sandwich, Ate Y/N." Casey said.

"Wala yorn!" You replied.

Jillian and Stella have also arrived now, greeting you all a good morning. Miss Stella gave out coffee to which you're so thankful for you almost lifted the woman off her feet. Your love for coffee is just unparalleled, a common ground between you and Stella. In return, you gave her a sandwich. Not that you needed something in return before giving her the food.

The bags under the youngest Robredo's eyes are more prominent this morning. You're a little worried. She probably had little to no sleep. You walked over to her and gave her a sandwich. "Kumain ka na ba?" You asked in concern.

She took the sandwich and smiled in thanks. "Hindi pa nga, e. But thank you for this. This would tide me over until lunch or so," she replied and opened the wrap.

You tilted your head and asked, "Online class?"

Jill nodded then took a bite. "Hala, ang sarap," she praised.

You snorted. "Puyat at gutom ka lang," you replied.

She continued eating the food silently while you're sipping on your coffee, comfortable silence lingering on the cold morning breeze.
