hi guys! i sincerely apologize for the unintended hiatus! i do want to finish this book at some point, so if you're still here, thanks for sticking around <3
i started writing this fic in early high school and over time i lost my direction with it. i dislike a lot of the plot elements and character choices i've made in this book, and i'm strongly considering giving it a hard reboot. with the new andor show(which i am LOVING), it will likely be posted after for the sake of portraying cassian's character correctly. the show is definitely boosting my inspiration and cassian having more than an hour's worth of screen time will give me a greater understanding of him rather than the cassian i've been building for this novel specifically.
i also have two possible spin-off series to this book, so there's a lot riding on this !
and my dear orona. my fiesty child. she's got so much ahead of her and i don't want to let go of her story just yet, but i do want to reframe it. i have a clear arc planned out for her and i feel the start of this book did nothing to initiate that arc.
i either will post slowly with revamped updates and changes to this book, or create a new and improved one all together. if anyone has a preference on updates (all at once, or as they're being edited/written) feel free to reach out to me with your input.
again, thank you to everyone who's stuck around so far. much love!
