A few months before classes were over Elizabeth's teachers told her she needed to submit headshots and minimum of 2 auditioning videos to either a commercial company or tv series. She chose to do commercials for smartwater and a weight loss program. While she waited to hear back she also ran a side job with me doing sugar scrub products, lip products, and a small coffee shop. Our small business was booming with sales and products flying off the shelf, till she got a call that she was needed in New York for her commercial debut. She looked excited for the news, but disappointed by the thought she was leaving the whole entire business up to me. Before she hung up the agent did advise she would get a lump sum before she left for New York just in case she needed anything before she got there. She bought a 2 bedroom condo and found a small business complex that has been empty for a while and needed very little remodeling. She showed me everything and also thought that I would love the idea of packing up the business and taking it to New York, excitedly I agreed so off to New York we traveled with our business.

"Okay so I was thinking and I thought of getting some part time help, with your approval of the help first, and I was also thinking of adding some new types of scrub scents to the list, since a lot of stuff is legal and we can get away with it." she laughed

"Bet I'm down! I would love the extra help especially since you'll be busy making commercials and gone a lot during the week, and the place we will be working out of will be tons bigger than what we are used to working out of. I can't wait to hear the scents and see it displayed on our new store shelves." I exclaimed

So Elizabeth started discussing the scents of weed infused sugar scrubs we would be selling at our store. Basically all we would do is add either manly shampoo, body wash, or cologne scents to the scrub with weed added into it. The weed would actually pull out all the oils and toxins that are in the body and cleanse the body to make it smooth and look a lot healthier while smelling great at the same time.

While she kept thinking of different ways to make the new men and women weed infused sugar scrub, I was lost in the beauty of our 2 bedroom condo that she had gotten because of her commercial company, it overlooked the city and the bay that led to the ocean and I couldn't wait to explore it all when I had free time from the business and not supporting Elizabeth at filming.

I decided to take a stroll around the bay and see the views of the water life. I caught a glimpse of a tall lanky guy leaning across the railing smoking a joint, the more I watched the more I liked the tall mysterious guy. I had to distract myself from him because I was only there for ways to help expand the company's business in the big city, and to support Elizabeth and her career taking off, not to fall in love with the first stranger I met. I ran back to the shop to check on how things are going, and to my surprise everything is coming together very fast, to the point we could actually start selling our stuff within the next couple days. I was stocking some of the shelves closest to the door trying to keep the guy at the sidewalk park,when I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eyes, it was the guy and he was checking out the store front and looking bummed we were not open yet. I watched him walk off as Elizabeth cut in the way of my mystery guy. I told her the news about how we could possibly open within the next couple of days, trying to avoid the fact she saw me blushing over the dude in the streets.

"Yeah cool I don't care. What I do care about is why are you dead eyeing that guy so hard? Do you know him? Also why was he looking at the store so hard and bummed because we were not open yet?" she asked hastily

"I don't know him, I was walking around the sidewalk next to the bay and he leaned up against a railing minding his own business, smoking his weed. The more I starred the more I started to like him, and it's weird because I have no clue who he is. I was stocking the shelves and I noticed someone walking past out of the corner of my eye and it was him. I'm not entirely sure what he was saying standing outside but I could just tell he was upset." I told her

It was opening day and the shop was pretty busy with customers for most of the morning. A lot of people were excited for the weed infused sugar scrubs we actually thought we would have to shut down. A few people were in the store when I was checking customers out, then I noticed a familiar face, he looked excited that we were open and was making his way over to the men's weed infused sugar scrubs. I rang up my last customer and made my way over to him, he mentioned he thought the idea of weed infused sugar scrubs was a dope idea, then he asked me my thoughts on the best scent for someone with so much going on in life.

I offered the one with old spice body spray with an eucalyptus flavor for mind relaxing yet smelling great. He agreed and grabbed two with an iced coffee for his long walk to his next tv show filming, as I was gathering everything up he handed me his card and the card read "Pete Davidson" as I tried to keep my composure and keep the small talk going I noticed he kept looking at me while trying not to make it obvious. I thanked him for the purchase and offered him a coupon card, he mentioned he would definitely be coming back more often, that it wasn't just the body stuff he would be coming back to check out.

I watched him walk out and waited for him to get up the street a few before I bolted over to Elizabeth to freak out. Huffing and trying to catch my breath while telling her about my adventurous moment, she looked at me with a lot of confusion. She grabbed me by my shoulders and told me to take a deep breath, calm down and then explain the chaos.

"I... that that that.... Pete.... Dude" I tried to get out.

Somehow she was able to figure out my puzzle and was able to put 2 and 2 together.

"Woah you just had a conversation with Pete Davidson? LIke the one that's your lock screen on both your phone and watch Pete Davidson?" she asked hastily.

"YES!! Dude he's coming back and not just for the products apparently. Not really sure what that means but yeah." I questioned

Elizabeth's eyes widened when she examined what he meant. She tells me that we have to go shopping after the store closes because apparently my outfits don't hold up in the city. I rolled my eyes but agreed, after all I was due for some new outfits anyway, on the way I wondered what she figured out but she wouldn't tell me, only thing I knew I needed to pay attention to how he acts when he is around me then I should understand. I watched how he acted when he was in the store, he would nonchalantly "look at the product" while looking at me with a smile. Then it hit me that Pete likes me but how do I go about letting him know that I like him because apparently we're both not good at talking about that subject. I did however know what his coffee order was so I asked if he was getting one today, he nodded so I started on it. I wrote my number inside the sleeve before putting it on the cup, I handed him the coffee and mentioned I slipped something inside the sleeve but he couldn't look at it till he got home.

Elizabeth noticed that neither of them had asked the other out so she decided to take matters into her own hands. She tells me that we need some more stuff on the shelves. If I cared to go to the back and grab them, I told her I would have no problem. I went to the back and grabbed some of the stuff we needed and possibly advertise some of our newest stuff we wanted to try.

"Ooooh she left her phone, now to find Pete's number...... Got it, now to get them two dating!" she mumbled to herself.

I come back from getting the other stuff and Elizabeth asks if I would want to go grab some supper tonight at one of our favorite places. She told me to go home and get ready. She had her hair and makeup people coming to the house later to help me get ready. I looked at her weirdly but agreed. I went home and started to shower, I started wondering why she wanted me so dressed up just for us two going out. I got out of the shower put my robe on and headed to the living room for them to start getting me ready. Elizabeth messaged me when my eta was, I told her they just started on my hair and almost done with makeup so probably 45 minutes with like 2 minute walk from the house.

"Okay I'm here, not sure why I'm so dressed up but yeah." I sighed.

"Can you not just be happy to be here with me for one night like you look fine by the way." Elizabeth aggravated

Rolling my eyes I agreed to be okay with everything tonight, until we get to our table and I see Pete. My heart dropped to my stomach and nerves took over my whole body, he looked at me for a split second then his eyes directed back to Elizabeth's date as they finished up their conversation. I knew she was seeing someone, but unlike her I don't meddle in her love life business. He was nice looking but he was more for her than me yet he was a much improved person than the last ones she's liked. They got up to let us inside the booth, I nervously sat up against the wall to where there was no space.
