Joey's P.O.V

I spent all night with her. Just hoping she will open her eyes. She looked so cold and pale it killed me inside. I love her so much I don't know how I can let her go. She is just so amazing, when I am with her all the pain and suffering just goes away. 

"Please just open your eyes. I need you in my life. I love you more than life itself. Just come back to me, and I will be yours forever." I plead. He held on to her cold hand. Soon he felt it twitch. She let out a moan.

I jumped up. He ran down the halls to get a nurse. I ran to Lisa at the front desk. "We need a nurse. I think she is waking up." I said and he ran back to Maya's side.

"Please open your eyes. Just do this one little thing for me. I will never hurt you again. I won't leave you, and I will protect you. All you need to do is open your beautiful eyes." I said. He looked at her just waiting for a sign of life.

Soon her eyes started to open. Then they closed again. " Keep your eyes open Maya!" I said urgently. He eyes started to open again.

Then they were open all the way. She was finally awake. "Where am I?" She asked weakly.

"Your okay now Maya. We are in the hospital right now." I said. She looked at me with tear-filled eyes.

"Joey?" She asked. She looked confused, and scared.

"It's me Maya. I won't leave you again. I promise this. I just want to say one thing to you. I don't want to loose you again. I was stupid, I shouldn't have hurt you. This is all my fault. I just hope you know that I care about you, a lot. If you ever left me I don't know what I would do. I just really want to say is that, I love you Maya." I said to her. I just poured all of those words I hid from her. Everything I felt towards her. 

"Joey, I love you too. I dreamt about you. You said so many things. It was like we had met for the first time all over again." She said looking into my eyes. I felt my eyes sting with tears. I wanted to stay strong in front of her, but I broke down. I went and hugged her and we just sat there and cried, but this time it was tears of joy.
