yo yo yo ok so like. i've kinda been sucked back into the st fandom. i haven't been in the fandom since season 3 came out bro. just like robin ignited my st hyperfixation in s3, eddie reignited it in s4. he's such a good character tho omg peak character design, and his eyes are so pretty. okok enough ab me ranting ab eddie munson (rip king) LETS TALK SHIPS

byler: starting off strong and controversial, before s4 came out this was my #1 st ship. and it still holds a special place in my heart bc it actually has a chance of being endgame, no matter how tiny it is. also I read the 320 byler analysis slideshow in 2 days. i am completely normal.

steddie: oh. my. god. when I tell you I SCREAMED when they were on screen together. ya know I saw a post on tumblr that's said harringrove is for straight people like steddie is for gay people and YEAH. YEAH. steddie is like the healthier and more loving version of harringrove. bc steddie isn't just based on sex, they have CHEMISTRY. like, ROMANTIC chemistry. it's the enemies-to-lovers trope but healthy bc they don't actually want to kill each other it's like a playfully flirty rivalry and GOD the amount of adorable steddie fics I've read over the past TWO MONTHS ARGHHH  like eddie slowly falling for steve after seeing him do all these little things that's make him realize he's actually not who he used to be and steve learning from eddie how to be yourself and be proud of it, to not be afraid of standing out in a crowd, of being different. my favorite flavor of them is aus where they meet before s4 and have such profound impacts on each other and how they grow as people and ok yeah I'll admit I've read a few steddie smuts BUT that is just bc im a whore alright. god I don't even know what I'm talking ab anymore just- I love them so much. they could have had so much potential had they not killed eddie off. FUCK bro and the fact that we didn't even get to see anyone else's reaction to his death? the duffer brothers rly hated eddie huh.

chriseddie? edissy?: no not my thing, respect if it is ur thing tho, I completely understand the allure of pairing metalhead eddie with a popular preppy person. it's just such a nice trope, id know being the #1 steddie shipper and all. but yeah i see them as more mlm wlw solidarity :) (however I do like the head canon of eddie's type being popular preppy kids ie chrissy, steve)
