okokok I KNOW I said I would do orv or genshin next but.... I've gotten a new hyperfixation.... I might a liiiiittle bit late to the club but oh well lmao. idk why now of all times im getting into hetalia, considering the fact that i have actually cosplayed this fandom before w friends, but the mind works in mysterious ways

ALSOOOO guess what??? I'm not writing this at 3am for once!!!! I don't actually think that's necessarily a good thing bc tbh my best work is done when I'm barely conscious. But it's 7:30pm and I'm bored out of my mind at work so here we go

EDIT: soooo after FrUk I actually got interrupted at work and ended up not being able to get back to this until now, which is 1am. lmao. so back to our regularly scheduled programming!

USUK: back when I tried getting into this fandom this used to be the one I shipped but years later and now I actually rly don't like that ship lol I dunno what I saw in it honestly. they're a kind of fun dynamic but honestly not very interesting to me

FrUk: I like in a like "background ship" way, like I can tolerate it but I would never read a fic with this as the focus yk?? I'm just not into the characters or dynamic that much

AmeriPan: when I tried getting into hetalia years ago this was like my second favorite ship, and I'm happy to report that it has held its stance as second favorite!!! I still rather like this ship, that episode where they were roommates was way too fucking cute and domestic I love them, but not as much as my current n1 fav ship in this fandom

CanPrussia(??): I completely forgot their name and I'm too tired and lazy to look it up so I just guessed. Anyway I think it's pretty dope, their dynamic is super fun I think and I rly like Prussia's character, and Canada's character too so it's nice :)

GerIta: this is kinda like the staple tbh, like you might not be super into it but at the bare minimum nobody dislikes it, I feel like they're always the background ship in a fic💀 it's just like, they're so established it's easy to just plop them into the narrative easily. But yeah that being said they're alright, pretty cute

RusChina: I'll be fr I didn't forget their name bc I never knew it in the first place. I either just never noticed it or I don't run in the same circles this does lol. Not my cup of tea. (also just a side note at first I thought China was a girl and was soooo disappointed when I found out he's a guy :( like I'd like his character so much more if he was a woman yk?)

RusAme: oooookayyyy I think that's enough stalling before getting to the main course. Of course, this is my hetalia OTP. like, if you've read some of my other chapters you'll know I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers, or rivals to lovers, or toxic doomed yaoi. this is all of those things rolled into one. and made like 10x more intense. like this is TOXIC toxic yaoi, not like the superficial toxic yaoi i hype up way too often(even tho that is still valid and i love it), this shit is the real deal. Like they're actually so bad for each other it's great. I do also love the more healthy and relaxed rendition of their dynamic, more loving, but them being at their worst tgt will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️

OKAY I think that's enough for now!!! Tbh this is kinda a mini hyperfixation imo, it'll prob be over soon but don't expect any updates on this any time soon bc in just 15 days I will be flying out to New York!!!!!! Excited and anxious bc it'll be the first time I'm flying without my family lol. But hopefully it'll all go over well and I can have a fun time at NYC :) but then like literally a day after I get back from that trip I'm going to Minnesota with my family and a friend to visit my Aunt so it's gonna be a rough 2 weeks lol
