Miss Ryder! It's lovely to see you!" Lizzie cheerily greeted the doctor who was busy looking at a patient's chart at the front lobby.

"Oh, darling! Didn't I tell you to call me Winona? Miss Ryder makes me sound old" Winona joked, her eyes lighting up spotting the familiar young woman.

"Right. Winona. I'm sorry. And you know you don't look a day older than 30" Lizzie charmingly smiled up at the experienced doctor. The latter chuckled and gestured to what the younger woman was holding.

"Such a charmer. Lunch for Scarlett?" Winona knowingly looked at the plastic bag where she caught a glimpse of a home-cooked meal.

Lizzie just rolled her eyes while chuckling, "Of course. Scar keeps taking extra shifts and I know her, she's not going to take a break to take care of herself and eat."

Winona just nodded understandingly, "I don't think I've seen her take a break today."

Lizzie just clicked her tongue and made a noise of disagreement hearing her suspicions confirmed.

"Do you think you can give this to her when you see her?" Lizzie questioned already giving the older doctor the bag. Winona shook her head,

"How about you give it to her yourself?" Winona gestured her head behind Lizzie where Scarlett had entered, the blonde's head focused on the charts she was holding on a clipboard. Almost like she can feel the two pairs of eyes staring at her, Scarlett glances up and lights up at the sight of Lizzie.

"Lizzie!"

Lizzie just waves with an eased smile.

"What are you doing here?" Scarlett finally stands right beside Lizzie, both now in front of Winona.

"Dropping off some food. You never came home and I had a feeling you wouldn't stop to grab yourself some food" Lizzie shrugged nonchalantly before shoving the bag into Scarlett's grasp.

The young doctor blinks before taking a peek inside the bag.

Scarlett perks up when she spots the clear-plastic container and catches a whiff,

"My favorite?"

Lizzie just nods bashfully,

"Chicken marsala"

Scarlett cheers, doing a little happy dance, before giving Lizzie a quick hug and kissing her on the cheek. Lizzie can feel her cheeks warming up at the affection before shaking her head,

"Okay, I have to go. I just came her to drop off that. I'm meeting Hailee across the street. You're coming home tonight this time, yeah?" Lizzie asked tilting her head.

Scarlett nods in confirmation making Lizzie grin before leaving the building.

"So," Winona finally broke the silence as they watch the young woman exit the building and turned to see a small smile dancing on the young doctor's face.

"Yeah?" Scarlett replied confused.

"I think this is the fifth time that woman has dropped off a meal for you." Winona commented pretending like she was reading through her charts in her hands.

"Mhm, yeah. She knows I always forget to eat and she's nice enough to be a darling and grab me something," Scarlett shrugged.

"I'm pretty sure that's homemade" Winona pointed out glancing down at the bag.
