Amelia X Willow

Hey guys! So you all might be wondering who Amelia and Willow are. They are actually two OCs that  my friend  im_MaryPoppins_yall requested I write a oneshot for, so here it is! Hope you like it!

"I can't find my keys!" Amelia shouted at her phone.

"What are you yelling at us for?" Melody, one of her friends, demanded. "We can't help you."

"Did you check your coat pockets?" Another voice came over the phone, and Amelia shoved her hands into her pockets, feeling for her keys. She sighed in relief when she pulled her bright purple keyring out of her right pocket.

"Thanks, Tally!" Amelia said breathlessly, having run over the whole apartment looking for her keys just a few moments ago. "Also, Mel, you were wrong. You can help me, like our lovely Natalie did."

"I know a way you can pay me back, too," Natalie said cheerfully.

"What?" Amelia asked.

"Could you please come pick me up today? Mel's car is in the repair shop, and Steve and Mark are working late,"Natalie asked.

"Why can't you take the bus, like you do every morning? Or you could call a taxi, Tally. I work halfway across the city!" Amelia said.

"The bus that comes in the morning is always less crowded than the ones that come at night, Lia. Also, I'm broke! I can't pay for a taxi. They always charge you double the normal price and you know it. Please, Lia?" Natalie asked pleadingly.

"You're being dramatic. The taxi I took last week was perfectly fine, and the driver was very pleasant. You could also use Uber, or Lyft." Amelia said, getting into the driver's seat of her car.

"Please, Amelia? Please?" Natalie asked.

"Just take her this one time, Lia," Melody butted in.

"Fine, but I could be late," Amelia warned Natalie.

"Thank you!" Natalie said, about to hang up.

"Wait," Amelia said, a question occurring to her. "How did Melody get to your flower shop if she doesn't have her car?"

"Melody fell asleep on her bus. Willow's going to drive her to the school once she's done unloading the new shipment," Natalie responded.

"Isn't Willow your boss?" Amelia asked.

"Yes she is. I actually just realized something, Lia," Natalie said. "She is totally your type!"

"What?" Amelia said, loudly enough that the guy in the car opposite to her looked up, frowning.

"She is!" Natalie maintained. "She's got blond hair, blue eyes, and she's a hard worker! She's also very sweet, and smart-"

Natalie was cut off from setting up one of her best friends with her boss by Melody, who snatched the phone away. "You're going to be late, Lia!" She said, right before she hung up the phone.

Amelia frowned as she saw the time. Shit . It was 7:15, and she was probably going to be late.

Within ten minutes Amelia was at her office, having driven at such speeds it was a miracle that she hadn't been given a ticket.

Just as she was settling down, the door opened a crack to reveal one of the interns, Tris.

"Miss Carl?"She said.

"Yes?" Amelia responded, looking up at her.

"Um, I was asked to bring you these," Tris said, and nudged the door open, revealing a pile of paperwork in her arms.
