Amber's Pov

James and I are standing in the doorway of our parents room, we came to see Mother if she's doing well. I was about to knock when the door opens and saw Mother was the one who opened the door, she looked at us surprised and crotch down to level us.

"Amber, James, what are you doing there?" Mom asked and caressed my cheek. "Are you well? I'm sorry if I left you guys unattended." She said with a soft voice.

She, of all everyone is heart broken, Sofia is her born child and yet, she lost her. Mother's face is tired even she hides it in a smile, she's still broken, it's just has been two months since it happened and the pain will not just vanish automatically.

"It's alright Mom, I know you're having a hard time about Sofia, we understand." James answered her and she embraced him and me.

"Mom.. if it's alright.." I started off, "we would like to find solutions to make Sofia out of the amulet." I felt her flinch but she then soften up and hugged us more tightly before letting a big sigh and standing up.

"It would be lovely to get your sister back, but I hope that you be careful in your journey. Just remember that me and your Father will support you where ever you are." She said and kisses us in the forehead.

"Thank you. We promise! We promise to bring Sofia back!"

Me and James shouted in unison and Mom laughed at us sincerely and gave us a pat in the head before heading out, she must have gone to the throne room.

"So what are we gonna do next?" James asked.

"I say we take the amulet first in the jewelry room." I replied. "Then travel to Avalor."

"Avalor?!" James respond in a shock manner.

"Don't you remember? Princess Elena of Avalor was the longest trapped inside the amulet for 41 years and Sofia was the one who let her out of it. Maybe she knows how to get our sister out of it too." I replied, James stayed silent until we reached the jewelry room. The griffins made a small and low growl but we completely showed ourselves and they stayed silent.

The amulet is still the same as the day we left it here, is Sofia doing alright inside? Can she hear us?

"Hi Sofia." James said to the amulet. I took the amulet in the stand it was resting and put on myself.

"I will never take this off until we get you out of this." I said and held the amulet tightly and gave James a look.
