Chapter 9

Amber's Pov

"We may be growing but we're not grown-ups yet. When you get busy it's so easy to forget. That you've got to have fun, yeah, you've got to have fun..."

Humming to a song we once sang when we were still kids, oh Sofia, time has passed so much and it's been eight years already..

I don't even know now if we ever get you out of the amulet, would you still be a child or a grown up?

"I'm scared Sofia.."

I softly whispered while taking off the amulet and slowly putting it to a glass jewel case, all these years since the time the amulet cracked, the magic has been seeping out. Oh i don't know.

"I graduated as the top student of Ever Realm Academy, Sofia. I wished you were also here.. and on my 21th birthday, I'll be finally crowned Queen of Enchancia.. in one month I'll be Queen already yet you're not here."

I didn't feel it but tears flowed from my eyes while I still wish that Sofia is still here.

"James been a knight for almost five years now and is the captain of the Royal Knightage. You should've seen him beeing awarded as the best knight in the kingdom!"

Third Person's Pov

Crown Princess Amber continues to tell stories about how her day went to the amulet. It has been eight years and a lot has happened, so much that the castle finally returned to its lively years. A portrait of the siblings hang across Amber's bed, she would often daze upon their portrait laughing, as if there were not one problem in the world.

Amber once again daze upon the portrait before falling asleep.

In the past eight years, even though the twins promised to stop after the Avalor journey, there were times the twins made secret journeys to the places Sofia once went. Especially the Mystic Isles.

Amber found a way to connect with the Protector Orion and Vega through the once trainer of Sofia, Chrysta.

While Chrysta was visiting the castle to secretly check up on the amulet, she was caught by Amber. They talked and she promised to help Amber get Sofia out of the Amulet, however even though with the help of other creatures and even the Crystal Master of the Mystic Isles, there was still no luck, however there is one assumption that the cracked in the amulet may keep up with the time of the outside world.
