Chapter 8

Amber's Pov

"All I know, the time that I have spent in that very same amulet is that, you never age, I was freed by using Shuriki's wand and the statue of Aziluna..." Elena said almost whispering the last past as if she realized something.

"Aziluna's statue! We might get her out with the help of Aziluna's statue!" She claimed with joy, I stood up and looked at her with hope that I wish for this to be the day that I get my sister out of this amulet.

After readying all the things that we needed we headed straight to the mountains where Aziluna's statue is hidden, the waters are deep below the statue as the statue itself is dried up as if it was left for a long time now.

We landed at the foot of the statue and Elena guided me towards the top of the statue, it looked liked some kind of dragon or some sort..

"Aziluna, he is known to be a great healer who could undo any curse or spell, however there must be another medium to be used for this to work.. you see, when I was freed, the wand that was used to trapped me inside the Amulet of Avalor was needed, that was Shuriki's wand, however, in this case of what you explained earlier, if Sofia just asked the Amulet of Avalor to trap Vor inside there could still be some remains of the wand that Vor used?" Elena explained and asked.

"I don't really know, the protectors might know something but I'm not sure on how to contact them.. They're kind of far away, too far away." My hope was already there however the bar keeps dropping and dropping, I just can't.

The two of us were silent until we reached the top of the statue, even though Elena said that there should be another medium but what I'm going to do is still worth the try.

I placed the amulet at the crown part of the statue, there is a stone circle with patterns on it, after placing the amulet for a few second it light up and swirled around in the air with this pinkish color, however this soon vanished as the amulet suddenly got cracked at the side of it's frame, it immediately fell to the ground and a bit of magical dust is seeping off the amulet from inside the amulet as if there was a small leak.

"No! No! No! What happened?!" I devastatingly exclaimed as I picked up the amulet and inspected the small crack beside the frame of the amulet. Why is it getting worse and worse?!

"What's happening up there?!" I heare James shouted at the bottom, my legs felt weak and just let myself sat on the ground as I looked at the amulet heartbroken with what happened.

"No.. Sofia.." I whispered as I caress the crack in the amulet. "Why is this happening?" I felt, once again, tears in my eyes, why can't you just pop out and be with us like we used to?

"Elena what is this? Why is this happening to my sister? What did she do wrong? She was only protecting the people she love. Why?" I just sobbed, I felt a pat in my shoulder which I ignored and a little while a comforting hug is what Elena gave.

"I don't know, but we're going to figure any and every possible solution. Even it may take a bit longer, I promise to do everything in my power to help you get Sofia out of the amulet." She let out a sigh and hugged me tighter.

"Your family has helped me so much in taking back my kingdom, now it's my time to help you now, big time..."

I let put a relief sigh after all the crying and sobbing, I fixed myself up, once more, and stood up, about timing, James arrived with his eyes stuck on the amulet.

"The amulet cracked James." I also felt my voice cracked, we both looked at the cracked amulet, I tried to organize all my hazy thoughts, every dangerous thoughts, I erased it and kept positive about the possibilities.

Sofia is not likely to just give up just because of running out of ideas. She would always find a solution one way or another.

I wore the amulet in my neck and poofed my dress, going down the amulet with the thought that I knew it will happen.

'And that's what's going to happen, I'm going to let you out there Sofia, one way or another.'

Hello, to everyone who reads this FanFiction, first of all, I am really sorry for not updating for 10 months haha, after the last chapter note wherein I said I was graduating, well, a lot happened after graduating senior high, and now I'm already college, I think time will be much more tricky for me. Well anyways, thank you so much for sticking with this story even though it is taking me so long for just an update but I'll try to update more than ever! I also just finished rewatching season one and two of the show since I need to recall every episode to have some inspiration for this FanFiction. Anyways, I'll end it here and see you in the next chapter!
