Izuku pov

When I was just 4 years old, the world taught me a cruel lesson...

That not all men are created equally...

That some are naturally born with more power then others...

It happend in a home, in China, a child suddenly started glowing a bright light, it was a miracle...

After that child though, more started to appear. Children with strange and incredible powers, this power started as only a few thousand, but over the next century it became the large majority of the population around the world, roughly 80% to date. These strange new powers were dubbed 'QUIRKS'...

With their arrival the supernatural became every day, the impossible became inevitable...

In the first 100 or so years, the world was engulfed in chaos as people began to disregard the laws. Dangerous people used their quirks to gain power and cause untold destruction, these people were called villains...

But some rose to meet the challenges of these evil doers and fight back...

This was the birth of heroes!

A group of people who used their gift to save others and fight for justice! They were met with overwhelming support form the people of the world. Quickly they became an official profession backed by the world governments. Taught in schools and paid for by the official hero organization, who meticulously rate and regulates the heros of around the world under different branches for every country. These heroes were rated by the association based on multiple factors, such as popularity, combat efficiency, and number of crimes prevented/stopped.

Sadly though, this system came with some unfortunate flaws in the new hero based society. It soon became less about the work and more about the popularity...

But that's not important right now...

Before I continue with the world let me show you a bit of myself...

As I said, I learned a very harsh lesson...

After I was announced quirkless I was rejected by all my peers and treated as a problem by the teachers. I was physically abused by the students and verbally berated by them, thankfully the teachers only watched and made comments, never going so far as to sabotage my grades or assault me...

For 10 years I was put through hell by every one around me...

But it meant nothing to me...

Because I was going to be a hero!

Izuku sat a computer late at night, watching the same video he always watched, all mights debut. He watched on slightly tearing up from the news of being quirkless.

It was devastating for him...

He was s simple boy who only wanted one thing in his life, to save others...

And he was just told it will never happen...

But as he watched that video...

That SMILE...

It ignited a fire in the boy!

His mother came in and watched her son as he stared at the video, before turning around to face her.

Izuku: mom...

Inko was heartbroken and was worried about her son. She didn't no what to say to him, what mother would!? She was torn apart between comforting her son and the guilt she felt, as if it was her fault that he was quirkless...
